no buy - way to much money for a game - also the additional benefits compared to the kegendary pack is too low

This is just asking too much, and unfair advantage if it's lifetime, for the others.

Considering I spent over $1000 on Warbirds over 10 years ago when it was hour rate before it went flat rate monthly subscription, and the amount of subs I have paid over the years since started with Ultima Online in 1997 and different MMOs, plus spending about $500 already in World of Tanks I would have no quarrels paying that sort of money for an "improved" package.
Was kinda hoping the Legendary Package would have instant closed beta access but happy to wait.

500 bills is to much, 250 bills would be considered, 175 bills would be a sale. I've played Combat Arms and World of Tanks and spent well over $1000 in a 2 year period between both games, but I just can't justify forking out $500 for a game when I have a family to support.

Both of you actually have a good point in that one thing that would sweeten a "Kerensky Edition" would be:

- Instant Closed Beta Access

So, with that added you'd have something like this:

- All benefits of Legendary Founder's package

- Lifetime Premium Subscription access

- Instant Access to Closed Beta for Pre-Clan invasion era

- Closed Beta Access for Clan Invasion Expansion

- Exclusive: Timber Wolf Prime to be made available after launch of Clan Invasion Expansion

Cost: $240 (All current Founder packages can be upgraded to this level with credit being put towards upgrade)

This would cover pretty much the entire spectrum and would get those pesky Clanners to consider buying in. -_^

Of course, in retrospect I kinda hope that PGI does'nt do this since my hubby would kill me. :(

This would be more acceptable and with credit applied toward the upgrade, even more so. Of course, this would have to be a limited, one time only offer by the devs.

I would buy it, but with one condition: Instead of "Mad Cat", change that to "Mech of Choice (within legal rights)"

Nope, because it has Kerensky's name attached.

Aleksandr was a wimp who ran when he should've stayed and fought for his ideals.

Nicholas was a power hungry, self-absorbed, egomaniacal dictator.

Also: my gaming budget is extremely limited, so I'll vote "lack of funds".

I would buy it, Other games have sold lifetime premium passes for 500 dollars and they didnt give THAT kind of utility ontop of it!

I would have to say no to this just on the cost. $500 is WAY to high a price point for this. $200 for a lifetime sub what what the going rate is and $250 after the fact. About 6 months after release for that "Star game" mentioned earlier is when the $200 lifetime was reintroduced with a $250 price tag to get people to shell out more money.

well, if this pack would cost about $200-$250, but without lifetime subscription(6 months is ok)-I think I buy it

Instant Closed Beta Access

Isn't worth $500 to me. . .

Quote

All 4 Founder's Mechs

Not interested in any of the 4 mechs that are tagged "Founder" so that's not a selling point either.

Quote

Unlimited Premium Account

The only game I know of that has a lifetime Sub is LOTRO and, I think it was already mentioned, that one
is only $300. Nothing I've seen so far justifies the extra $200.

Quote

60$ In-game Money

Tempting but again, not worth the $500. Especially if you already have access to the 4 "Founder's" mechs with the attached boost in C-bill earning and XP. (Although, not sure if in-game currency will let you buy the vanity items or not. Which brings me to another point. We don't, at this point, even know what the prices will be set at OR what will even be available for purchase).

Quote

Early Access to the Kerensky Cluster

Kerensky Cluster? I think i might have missed an announcement somewhere . . .

Quote

Partake in various Trials with other buyers

Not a clanner so the various Trials don't interest me.

Quote

Get your freakin' Madcat

Pshaw . . ::finger twirl:: Madcat, shmadcat . . Now, if you has said "Battlemaster", you would've piqued my interest but i still wouldn't drop $500 for it.

Quote

Star League Emblem (for avatar)

While I can understand something unique for a package like this, would much rather have the Star League Emblem be something sold in the cash shop. Especially since I don't think the Clans use it anymore as they've all got their own Clan Insignias.

Price: 500$ USD
Buy, or no buy?

I'd have to say "Not Buy". The price is just too high and if I tried to spend that much money on something like this, my wife would kill me. :)
