You sure you didn't get the mechbay mixed up with the previous event where they gave a free mechbay away? Have you gotten the 5 wins need for this weekend's event? If you have, it may take a while since I noticed that it took a couple of hours for the alt accounts I used earlier this morning (server time).

If you don't get it by the time the event ends, mail support@mwomercs.com about it.

It is automatically awarded and you are notified via an announcement in the mechlab after 15 -30 minutes after the 5th win. However, there could be delays due to congestion. See above if you don't get the mech & bay by the time the event ends.

Honestly, ever time i get pulled back in to the game with the free mech gift and grind the 5 wins (call me a sucker but i want the free mechs and bays in the very very slight chance that this game ever turns it around) i dislike the game more and more. From the appalling UI design to the LRM&base turrets campfest and getting stuck on terrain all over the place (seriously a 90year old could conquer steeper climbs than these battlemachs can).

Any real/good progress this game has made over the past year and a half could have been done in months by a competent team. Obviously this isnt counting all the "one step forward two steps backwards" changes which really cant be called progress.

And even all that could have been somewhat forgiven if the communication with the community were there. Go check on Gazillion and see what a little effort in communication and showing some passion for your own product does for a community. Do you even have a community manager these days?

The thought of playing any more than the compulsory 5 wins for the free stuff or god forbid spend any more money on this game literally makes me sick to my stomach.

Anyone else having trouble obtaining the mech? I've won at least 12 games today and I still don't have it...

EDIT: Read a few more posts.. I'll wait a few more hours.

Unfortunately, this trend is happening more and more often nowadays. This, "memememe" generation that's expectant of instant gratification is extremely amusing, not.

I didn't get the 'Mech at first, so I waited about twenty minutes, logged out of the game client and then back in again. Sure enough, the Thunderbolt was sitting there in its own bay. I think we need to change 'Mech loadouts or log in to force the server to refresh our inventory, including challenge rewards.

Mine didn't require logging out or refreshing. It redeemed about an hour after I'd earned it. I suspect there's just a bit of a backlog in processing the redemptions.

Thanks for the new Mech PGI. Since this Mech's selling proposition is dual AMS, I feel compelled to ask for improved AMS performance. The system right now is rather lacking to put it lightly. Again, thanks for the new ride and keep them coming heh =)

Dual AMS will let 1-4 of those LRM10 missles though, possibly more if you're charging that mech (less time for AMS to hit). You should be mostly immune to a single LRM5 though.

It's free armor though, and should help keep LRM Rain down to a trickle.

It's a nice mech though. Feels like a good brawler.

I'm having an issue. I got my 5 wins and have not received the mech. I logged out and logged back in and even exited the game. But I'm not getting the new mech. What the hell is going on!?

Some users have seen it take longer than the typical 15-30 min. If you haven't seen it after an hour, shoot off an e-mail to support though!

It takes at least 15 minutes to refresh. Best thing is to simply do a drop or two. and it will show up at some point.

Sometimes it takes an hour to get it after your 5 wins. And if you still don't get it after the hour and logging out and back in the game and still don't see it then send a support ticket to PGI.

So far I am enjoying the mech.

It'll appear in your mechbay automatically after about 15 minutes.
