I know there used to be a thread on it, and when you do a search for it you get
http://mwomercs.com/...7-known-issues/ - returns 404 error
http://mwomercs.com/...before-posting/ - UI 2.0, Archived, unable to post in it.
http://mwomercs.com/...t-known-issues/ - Returns 404 error
http://mwomercs.com/...4-known-issues/ - October 2012 - 2013, so there are no known issues in 6 months?

Those are the first 4 on the list. How are we supposed to know what you know are issues/bugs?

I would like to recommend a thread, with a list of the known issues in the game, given the stickiest of stickies, and a notation of its progress/priority in being addressed. I'm actually surprised that there isn't one

As far as development, The Plan is just bad. I don't mean it's a bad plan (hard to judge given that it doesn't tell us whats being worked on where, so we'll give it the benefit of the doubt) but it really tells us nothing, what does "UI 2.0 100% complete" mean when there are still issues plaguing it? Is there nothing more to be added to it? What does Loyalist Life 12% mean? From the outside looking in, these are just arbitrary numbers assigned to meaningless catch words.
And the Roadmap in the State of the Inner Sphere address is just a thumbnail sketch augmented by sometimes vague and (seemingly)contradictory CC posts.

Help us to help you.

Get used to it.

Hiding all the skeletons in the closet requires a bigger closet!

The original tone of this thread was worthy of an immediate jettisoning, and revolved mostly around how is plebeians aren't worthy of more than 140 characters at a time, but I decided to try and get something good out of it instead ^_^

The first link led to the Known Issues sub-forum which has been archived as the format originally provided was found to be a bit too much manual labour, and actually hadn't been updated in quite some time. The same can be said for the fourth link, which served it's purpose well in earlier times. For the time being you can catch major known issues in the Patch Notes as well as in our Patch Feedback forums as they are uncovered by players and dissected by our QA staff.

The second link has been restored to General Discussion. In all cases where an Archived discussion is desired to be restored, please refer to: http://mwomercs.com/...-been-archived/

Behind door number 3 is what was the Known Issues sub-forum for Public Tests. These Known Issue lists will be provided in the future directly in the Public Test subforum.

Thanks for the quick reply Niko,

Seems to me though that the solution of posting in the Patch Feedback forum is to provide relevant information in regards to that particular patch. That is, unless it's up to the user to comb through all of the Patch Feedbacks (which, they can't as they're all archived or missing) to find a bit that is relevant to them to see if it's a known issue or not. Or should they just continue to repost known issues in each Patch Feedback until it's resolved?

An example would be the issue of the Friends List loading problem from a little while back. I posted a thread on it in Patch Feedback, it became archived, the problem persisted and when I circumvented a process and contacted a dev directly, it was unknown to the UI people that not only it was still an issue but it was actually GETTING WORSE.

I'm really trying to not be a Richard Cameron here but it seems to me that part of this Glorious New Level of Interaction would be to acknowledge and address continuing issues, in a simple and updatable list, and not place the burden on the players (customers) to disseminate information.

Well since you mentioned it.

I've been building a list for the next version starting with the most critical known issues first as well as patch specific known issues, and will be expanding it with other older known issues as we go along.

Reason for this staging is to ensure the list is better ordered than the previous Known Issues forums was, focusing on the biggest offender issues first, and is easier to keep up-to-date by having a systematic approach to checking on fixed and regressed bug statuses.

:)
See, was that so hard. Let us know what you're doing and we'll love you for it.

Let me start with, Awesome Sauce! for Nikolai.

But then let me add:

"The Plan" is implemented at a chimpanzee's level of understanding for conveying data, and that might be a slight to the chimpanzee.

We need a flow chart or box diagram, with all relevant pieces in one place and on one page, backed up by an actual discussion of what the numbers mean... each box of the flow chart could have a popup, or nested link to a more detailed discussion if you insist on the fancy design elements, but a user shouldn't have to make that many clicks just to see some percentage numbers.

It's like they designed UI2.0. Total design fluff nearly completely trumping the actual function(building a mech or conveying information).

Oh wait....
