uhhhh post-perks this thing is INTENSE. put 3erppcs in the one torso and that's it.

wrecks ******* up and down the street.

modules and mastery turn it into a godking of all ranges

definitely rivals the 5ss

hehehe I'm loving this thing. I haven't tried THREE ppc though! Will do!

Make that 4 of them... Been running that on CW and in defense on Boreal Vault it's a beast. Firing one by one or on pairs you can make any mech back down.
On hot maps it needs a bit of caution managing heat, but it's not bad.

Correction. Do not put 3 ERPPC in the one torso. They are too low mounted. Put two in the other torso where they are higher mounted and 1 in the arm. Do not run 4 either...

Indeed, definitely on the right should is where to put them. I run with 2 MLs in the LT and then a bunch of heat sinks. I suppose I could drop the engine size down to find room for the 3rd one in the arm, but truth be told, not really needed. Just stand back with range & cool down mods and just blast things with an AC/20 worth of damage at 900 meters.

Old thread is old.

This thread (I believe) was before "The Quirkening". So, it was back when mechs didn't have quirks, and people didn't consider the Thunderbolt to be a good mech due to it's hit boxes (I never understood that, but it was the consideration at the time).

Now? The Thunderbolt has been quirked to being one of the best IS mechs, depending upon what one wishes to do with it of course.
