PGI needs to add "No quirks" and "No modules" options for private games. A "stock mode" button would be even more welcome but those two would be great for a start.

SMM doesn't seem right to me with mechs having quirks these days.

Yup, "no quirks" is essential feature.
"No modules" not so much.

I'd love to come out to a stock mech event! They should definitely have a stock mech mode.

Loved doing this but Mondays are hard being in the Pacific time zone. Perhaps Sundays would work better? I can probably make something happen on Steiner hub or SRoT TS. I'll look into this and let y'all know.

Likewise. Elite Dangerous is a time sink. But I miss doing the SMM videos, and think I'll make it a point to attend this one. Be nice to get a good showing by the SMM crowd, since we have some good experience working together.

So I did it.

I present the Stock Mech Enthusiasts Group.
It's currently public so any of you can join, once enough people have I'll assign some mods and officers to help with stuff.
(Not currently letting me apply a group icon either, but I'll try again later).

Hopefully this will help some
