I'd never buy a gold 'Mech, at least not for that price. I would however buy a complete collection of all 'Mechs to be ever released in MWO for $500, sans silly things like gold skins. I need to feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

I'd actually consider a golen Uller just for the LOL's. Of course, I'd have to be completely intoxicated at the time. Wonder if I can crowd source this? Some kind of "sponser MWO's only golden Uller"... i'd probably have to agree to play it for months on end....and let you all get tons of laughs as you pick me out and kill me, but I think it would be worth it. I'm just glad there wasn't a golden Locust

Yea golds a crap color, silver ok I'd consider it but gold? Not a chance.
All things said though considering I bought all founders, all phoenix, sarah etc. I won't buy this simply because of how disappointing the "special" mechs were in those collections.
I am looking forward to seeing them on the field though

Sometimes you want to be the guy everyone is gunning for. I have debated buying the gold Dire Wolf. Something that could take the extra hits.

However, I don't really want my mech to be gold. As someone else pointed out, maybe a chrome effect for all paint colors you put on it?
