That is one sexy mech. I wonder if we'll be able to sport alternate configs B and C on any of the other variants http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Stormcrow.

I want the Ryoken Kotare veriant listed there.....4 med lasers, 2 SSRM-6 and an LRM-20

Light hunter with a little long range pnch

Why does one pic have claw hands and the other fully articulated?

I am happy with the design. This one looks definitely foreign and the slight tweaks from old art read great. I was not thrilled with the mad cat getting so beefy, but this one looks sleek and menacing.

also different ankles. It's the slightly modified preorder model - similar to the phoenix package mechs where the main variant was slightly different in appearance.

That's pretty much just the A with ER meds instead of pulses.

One is of the special geometry variants that the people who bought the packages gets, the other is the normal variant. Its hard to guess, but based on some posts from the devs, I assume that the special variants will have an (I) after their name and chassis designation. I for Invasion.

If it's not answered already:
The "Prime" variant with the unique geometry (fancy colors and sleeker shape) is the package mech.
The others with the pinchers are the 'standard cbill/MC' versions.

Lordred should totally be taking the official screenshots of the mechs. Game just looks better through his lens. (Just look at that screenshot thread.)

Looks awesome, I can't wait to get one. The tiny hands are a little unsettling. "Take my strong hand!"

Yeah the hands are freaking the hell out of me right now..

I do like this mech, but something is amiss - its the arms.. ..they feel like I could just break them off & lower arms like they have been glued on... ..interesting to see similar components to the Adder.

Actually, just get rid of the creepy hands and Im in love...

The hands are a bit weird, maybe rotate the hands as mentioned, but remember the mech hands mounted on hte omni's weren't really there for use,but for grab points for 'Toads' (elementals).so no real use fro them in the game per say. So can shorten the arm a bit and or rotate. Otherwise these clan mechs are realy looking good. So far glad I got the entire Masakari package so far. BTW I do like the look of the Timberwolf.

Looks fine.
Still can't buy anything until I know something solid about the clans.

Because their omnis, you can't even guess what the weapon config will be until they release all the hard points and internals. So until there's a smurfy's build, you can't know what kind of weapons they can really carry.

And until they start doing drops, you can't even know how balanced will be, but the second issue is unfixable ;-). The first though, is something PGI could do!

Smurfy's gonna have to rewrite his page a bit.
Clan mechs literally detach arms and side torsos here Front Mission and/or Armored Core style.
No, I'm serious.

Swap out config A's arm for Config H's arm. Check....yeah.
Also hit community top of page and then play on the NGNG Mechs Devs and beer 15 for clan weapons.

I don't see how the Stormcrow can be made any more perfect than PGI has made it. This PGI nailed spot-on--just like with the Puma...and maybe the upper half of the Timber Wolf as it's only the leg design that irks me. =u=

As for the arms, I could see it being more feasible for the two Energy Hardpoints in the arms to be re-oriented such that they're over-and-under instead of side-by-side, but then again, this depiction of the Stormcrow rubs off as the one that actually lives up to its namesake. Inb4 "Scarecrow Stormcrow" becomes a thing.

I like this one! Looks weird compared to IS mechs, which it should since its clan. Very unique. I love the little hands [BABY PUNCH! lol], I wish the free version had them too.

Preorder the Stormcrow Now!

Sleek, mobile and versatile, the Stormcrow is believed to be one of the earliest OmniMechs ever designed. Incorporating the best weight-saving technologies, it is able to mount a large amount of weapons for the size of its frame while retaining strong armor and a decent 97kph top-speed.
  • A wide-spread, second generation OmniMech fielded by nearly every Clan
  • Fast and has near maximum armor for its weight class
  • Due to its mobility, armor and firepower, the Stormcrow is a feared opponent on the battlefield.

Weapons and Equipment
This Stormcrow variant is based off a lightweight endo-steel chassis with a 330 XL Engine. This makes this ‘Mech slightly faster than other medium weight class ‘Mechs and it also utilizes 9.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor for survivability. The use of 22 double heat sinks allows the Stormcrow to adequately handle the heat generation of its 2 ER Large Lasers and 3 ER Medium Lasers.
Primary Configuration:
  • 3x ER Medium Lasers
  • 2x ER Large Lasers
Hardpoints:
  • Head: 1E
