How can you guys get any real feedback from a test by a couple of hundred players in less than half a day when most of the testing was waiting for a game?
Now we have a Dev making excuses about small team, small amount of players willing to test and other things.
Editing config files, really? thats how you handle a simple switch?
Seriously PGI you guys arent upto playing with the big boys.
One thing really worries me tho, where are you guys going to get a job after you put MWO in youre resume in the near future.

Not complaining about the technical issues, it's a big change and stuff happens. However, for those of us with premium time going, can we get that day back? For those of us who plowed in with the hope of 3/3/3/3 and Elo tiers being amazing (which they were! Oh, such a brief taste of joy....) it's kinda a frustrating setback.
Understandable if you don't want to do something that could be seen as setting an unreasonable precedent, I read the forums often enough to know how even the vague discussion of giving an inch is often later representing as having promised the Louisiana Purchase and then LYING ABOUT IT!!!!
However, for a lot of us 3/3/3/3 has been a big deal. The biggest deal in MW:O since closed beta become open beta in a lot of ways. A bigger deal than the Clans, or anything like that. It's what's got us excited to play and it's had some bumps out of the gate. That's cool, it's worth waiting for. Would be nice to get that time back though.
Oh, and in case you hadn't seen literally every other post I've written in the forums today....
thanks for the ability to turn film grain and stuff off. I've been wanting that since mocking Justin Beiber put me in the minority, not the majority. All due props.

^^Spot on! Anyone wanting rewards in private matches is going to have to complain to EA who put this in back in what... Battlefield 2? Hahaha! Come on now, we all know that their would be 100mil Cbill accounts after a week if this wasn't outlawed.

It's a free to play game, it's a relatively common occurrence for players to have alt/dummy accounts.
This would allow players to not sacrifice their KDR or W/L to farm in this manner.
I'm not sure if you can start a second client at the same time as the initial one, but a second pc/laptop or a vm sidesteps that issue entirely.
You think someone's gonna... err... 24-box mechwarrior online to farm fairly trivial amounts of c-bills?
That's kind of ridiculous dude.

and with there being no gold ammo in game what does it matter? I mean really. so you buy all the mechs you can and have all the modules and everything...... so what, you can't play them all, you can't be OMG AWESOME in all of them and you still have to buy mech bays. In fact having to buy mech bays would almost be an incentive to PGI to allow rewards in private matches.
the only way they can keep it like this is to make any consumables used be free in private matches. I'll go one step further and say any C-Bill bought consumables should be automatically replaced at the end of the match at no cost to the player. As it is right now it is just a punishment for having more than three friends and other game titles are reaping the rewards of those gaming budgets. Dog Fight module anyone?

Interesting thought, but then again it forces private only players back into the public queues at some point to get more c-bills. Of course, you could always buy Cbills now with MC (I say that ONLY to poke the bear).
But lets be realistic, most private server FPS games cost you, the player, money to host. Here all you need is a premium in. So who is getting the cheaper part of the deal?? You are talking to someone who used to drop $500 a month support a serious gaming group (not to be named)... as much as you THINK you deserve this system, it does cost something and take away from the public queue, so you just MAY have to repay that somehow. Your choice, public queue Cbills or MC...

So I pilot a Jager made to be an RFL-3N, an Orion made to be as close to a Mad-3R, and a Shadow Hawk dressed up like a Wraith, I use a Dragon with the weapons load out of a Bushwhacker (well a custom Bushwhacker that I use in the TT), a Victor made up like a Zeus 6S, a 3 PPC Awesome, and a CPLT-C1 with stock weapons save extra ammo and AIV on the LRMs, I have a Griffin that puts more effort in to spotting than doing damage and a SHD-2D2 dressed up like a custom 5D I use in TT(even the paint looks the same, though the mini was painted long before MWO) I have a BLR-1G with less than stock weapons, took off the SRM 6 and added more and double heat sinks, my Stalker has SRMs not LRMs and I have tried to recreate a Raksasha with an Orion, Long before even the first champion 'mech, I had a Cataphract that has almost the same weapons load out except the it has an AC/10 not an LB10X, my Blackjack once tried very hard to be the IS version of a Shadow Cat and I still run Sara's 'Mech, I am championing the release of the Assassin, one of the most awful 'mechs ever, I want to see the release of the Enforcer, Enfeild, Watchman, and Bushwhacker, all pretty much variants of the Cent, why? because they are fun
So, you see I have no Death Star, maybe a few SSDs, but no Death Star, and I often take out fatlases, highlanders and metaboat stalkers in 'mechs under 60 tons, and ironically I kill more 'mechs under 60 tons in heavies and assaults, I have been in many stomps on both sides and I have been that one guy with 5 kills in a pretty much stock X-5 in a loss (that was during 8v8 bty) in fact, in games where I get more than 3 kills and 500 damage I think I have a loosing record, but I usually have fun win or loose, save LRM spam I can even forgive other metaboats
MWO isn't perfect, and I do dare say that we will likely see mainly metaboats in 3/3/3/3, and less of the lower end of each weight class, also I actually don't want to see in game VOIP, I thought I did, then I played CoD at a friend's place the other day and remembered that I usually have to mute everyone because the only thing I hear is trash talk in game and awful insults being hurled like LRMs in a festival of Artemis, and you want the removal of premades? really? why? I've played in several 'units' and have found that I don't really play differently or have a better win/loss record so I really only play with people I personally know anymore anyways, and I'd have a hard time staying interested in the game if I couldn't play with my real life non-internet friends

You can rest assured everybody has been on Red-Alert/DEFCON-2 since the issue was found. The team wants to get this sorted-out ASAP so they can move on to the next important feature.
As to the Biebs: While our hearts go out to his family and friends. Our nation's foreign and customer service policies clearly indicate: You break it, you buy it. There will be no refunds or returns on damaged pop idols.
We still have the receipt and just might make a case that the product arrived faulty. Admittedly there's no way we can say he's not pretty badly used.
*BOOM*
Thank you. It's cool, I'll wait. I have no doubt that the people who've spent a few missed hockey matches worth of hours getting it put together want it working even more than I do.
Just that now going back to regular pug matches just feels like this.
