PGI has my support.... I'm still playing this.
For their blunders they DO usually at least take steps forward.
That's far and away better than Cryptic does with STO.

Just imagine the devs going "We need to make pvp more approachable! It's the evil premades ruining everything!"
So they cut the premade capability to 2 man. That's right.
Now imagine devs going "we just merged all the match types entirely to make them pop faster"
Rather than taking a long hard look at the game realizing that most people are actually too stupid to do anything but smash the space bar in combat, and realizing that the game FORCES you go grind lolpve in order to be competitive for pvp.
Imagine a game running for FOUR YEARS, with just Two maps in Arena play, and ONE map for capture and hold. Imagine the Devs ADMITTING they are literally incapable of making more because they lost the pvp map code years ago and are unable to make new maps because of it.

THAT is Cryptic levels of Fail and REALLY happened.
So yes good on you PGI for not being as laughably bad as Cryptic

Good job PGI, you can almost do the same amount of constructive work as a room full of drunk monkeys. Hey can you go ahead and put up another Mech package, the Clans are almost out. How about some more mechs and sales? Go ahead an put everything else on hold so that you can put more mechs out.

And before you come after me ... ya'll do know that is what PGI does right? The money we give them doesnt go into the game, it goes to IGP who puts the money into other ventures. Then IGP gives PGI marching orders like ... put out the Clan package, no need to have a Community Warfare team.

I am tired of PGI/IGP's lies and half truths while people come on here and defend their horrible and unethical actions.

Woot, there are worse developers, that's the best people can say about PGI, they aren't the worst F2P developer out there. Talk about damning with faint praise, but hey you work with what you got when you set out to make PGI look good. ;)

ya know Notch, no offense, but when all you and Zolaz can do anymore it seems is complain about how horrible it is...it just kinda makes you seem a little sad for still being here.

I get misery loves company and what not, but you know, it would be amazingly mature and all, to not have to go and piss all over anyone s thread that might remotely not take as bleak an outlook as you.

You sure you don't wanna give them a week to fix the Launch Module bugs first? Like the one where multiple premade groups can still drop on the same team?

Yeah I pretty much have to give them the weekend at this point after coming home from dinner and reading how everything's messed up. I want to judge it based on the content in working order.

The changes made like removal of film grain and glass glare is nice a freaking fantsic change that people have been asking for for years (in film grains case). Completely serious, I was rather pleased when I heard that.

But yeah with word of an even more broken MM that required hotfixes and removal of MM features, I still have no reason to install.

1 step forward, 2 steps back

Something had to be done. With all these threads, a simple 'Thank you' can make a difference. It might be small or big. i am sure that any thank you is being appreciated. :P

I'd like to chip in as well. I genuinely enjoy playing the game, a lot. Every match I have a blast. I friend people that did well or were friendly, and in doing so I roll with really exceptional people. I hope the game lasts for a really long time, as it's the only online competitive game I've ever really cared about. Keep on truckin'!

Yeah I'm still enjoying this game, and Sarlic, I notice you're a member of the Lyran 6th RCT (apache division I assume), next time you see Wild Hog, please pass on my best (and to the rest of the team). I used to play with those guys a bit back in the ISW days of Mech4.

Is this a joke, people have been screaming bloody murder about getting their clan mechs...so that's happening, not sure why you don't want them out. Also buying packages...keeps them employed and pays for new hires along with showing the game isn't a financial sink hole so it's worth developing further.

Also proof of the accusations?

This is a thread for appreciation.

If you have criticism, there are countless other threads for you to voice it. Please do not mock and belittle others' opinions by shoving yours down their throats and dragging their threads off-topic. It doesn't encourage forum activity. This isn't a matter of free speech, it's just a matter of being considerate.
