better in the sand that up one's sphincter, as your posts seem to demonstrate yours to be? Odd since I'm pretty sure douchebags are actually meant for other body cavities.

Good initiative, Sarlic! :D

And to PGI, thank you for making a great game that has given me many hours of entertainment so far, and that will most assuredly keep on doing so!

I'm on board.
I own quite a few of the current 'hot' PC titles but far and away most of my gaming time is spent right here. It's just my favorite game, my favorite community and my favorite studio. Neither words nor cash paid can express my gratitude.

oh i've seen it all now, people are thankfull buying up mc for the oppotunity to be given back code to fix the game? that's like you paying for the privalege of fitting the wheels on your drive out the showroom car yourself.

still you like craptastic you can have it, buy more mc and they might add a link to smurfy, TS channels and other third party software in thier bottleneck reducing UI which can't add tickboxes for such graphic changes.

don't get all technical on us :) but yeah i'm not in a thankfull mood considering the years of waiting for what's turning out to be so minamal in functionality compared to the marketing boasts that the time let alone the money is too rich. convincing people to have a go is only getting harder.

I complain or argue bitterly but in the spirit of the thread I say thanks for bringing giant metal robots back to me and reviving this wonderful IP.

I hope this stays afloat until it is what it could be. Whether it is in this incarnation or another. One day I hope I can actually sink myself into a virtual cockpit and independently move arms, climb, punch, kick and blast the hell out of buildings and go on missions and fight against the clan on a grand scale and pilot an aerospace fighter, eject out of a dying mech, run, hide, and and and...

Thanks for keeping that dream alive :)

This is a thread for appreciation.

If you have criticism, there are countless other threads for you to voice it. Please do not mock and belittle others' opinions by shoving yours down their throats and dragging their threads off-topic. It doesn't encourage forum activity. This isn't a matter of free speech, it's just a matter of being considerate.

Ya I say thank you as well and I also try to point out the good things in this game on other forums like pc gamer and Ign. Although ign kinda sucks. This is my favorite game to date and as such I don't mind spending a bit of hard earned cash to support them.

As many criticisms as I could pull up about the game, I still enjoy it. Yeah I took some time off, but coming back and jumping in it's proving once again to be solid at it's core.
Thanks PGI, you have your ups and downs but the game continues to move on.

Thanks for giving me a game that, whilst it has its fault and that we are aware you are working on fixing, gives me a daily fix of mech goodness. Also thank you for taking a punt on an IP that had been dead in the water for six years, written off as an 80's fad goodness knows how many times, and that has enough depth, history and complexity to make the average developer and publisher avoid touching it with a ten foot stick.
