So you telling me pgi......you hold a public testing and no one seen this coming? no one had these problems we are experiencing today? That or everyone that did the public testing just completely ignored this problem? If it is here now wouldn't it have been a problem in the test servers?

I played on the PTS from 6pm EST until 1am EST. Never once failed to find a match, wait time was quite long at the end though.

Seems like "Operation Pressure Test" was an unexpected success.
On second thought: No active participation was required to ensure success, the testing subject was vacuum.

3333 was to good to be true. A MM just can't handle so many variables to account for to be done in a timely manner. Just keep it simple like we had it before and build the different weighted mechs into a better position to 1v1 each other.

There is probably no realistic way too restrict how heavy a player's team is with MM without controlling their choice of a mech with a random pick of who gets to pilot a champion mech or another weight class they own instead of the mech they want to pilot.

It was temporarily removed in order to squash a bug. They are working on a hotfix to bring it back.

Ok wait in the test server we could still pick match type, is this a bug, or is that been taken away? If that is now not a Public feature I would really like to know. Need to cancel that clan package. I hate skirmish ad will not play that mode. It was never stated anywhere that we where going to lose that ability. If its just a bug, fine that I can live with.

Hope to here answer from PGI on this.

Read the patch notes, or any of a half dozen posts in this thread. The answer is already there. Taken out because of a bug.

First match, took a light, in 10s 3/3/3/3 match... decent match at that. After that things went downhill, guess MM had a fit or something.

Only a fraction of the community has tried playing on it so far, so the buckets are probably just as small right now as they were during the Public Test.

As far as tonnage matching, well, this was the cost of it. Longer wait times and possible hangups. Hopefully it's just a bug, but it wouldn't surprise me if tonnage matching turns out to need much more work and time for the matchmaker. You wanted this, just wouldn't accept the cost of it.
