And same time, what horrors will targeting computer bring, some clarification on that from PGIs corner would be nice.

I guess modelers were asked to pose them like this, to give those mechs more menacing look.

If I had my tinfoil hat on, I'd say that it could be easily done in game, except that players don't have access to proper controls because it would make weird gameplay and royally screw the convergence.

I take it back, the horizontal orientation looks much more integrated into the arm and less like an add-on.

At least it would be enough to know if its fixed or non fixed equipment.

Would anybody know by any chance, say if you purchase a clan pack, what time would the monthly rewards be injected?
or do we have to redeem through a redemption code? if so where could i find mine.. =(

June 17. Presumably there will be a big fancy patch on that day and all items will arrive when the patch is complete.

Oh, the monthy awards! Oops. There is not a redeem code, they are added after the end of the month, not sure if it's the first of the month or the first patch.

Should not be under the PPC pod, in the first place. The aesthetics would be much better if it was on the side of the pod.

BTW:
Seriously: this Mech is complete undergunned.

Look 4...you have 4 Energy Hardpoints. 4 - and a single LRM rack...on a 85t Mech.
It hardly would be better if you swap some modules....for example the Arms of A and B.
So you may have 5 Energie HPs and 1 Missile Rack.

That means - given on the variants - config B...would be the only viable HP setting: 3 missile racks, 1 Ballistic and 4 Energy

So please reconsider to add the number of hardpoints for the Prime - 6 or 8 would be a adequate beginning

Please explain to me, why does anyone ever like these horrible old 'mech designs??? A 10-year old boy can come up with something better, so why do PGI designers repeat this awful Sarna drawing so litterally???

A 71 point alpha on a mech is undergunned?

The idea of Clan mechs is quality over quantity. Ohh, poor baby has only 4 hardpoints. It would be a shame if each weapon you socketed in there hit harder and farther than the IS equivalent with tonnage and room spare for extra heat sinks, armor, or other hardware.

Do more with less, because you can. Plus, half of you just shove 2 AC5 and 2 PPC on a mech and call it a day as it is. Number of hard points being "low" is a silly argument at this point. :)

The current stats for the clan mechs only lists the bare-minimum stock-required hardpoints. This does not mean, however, that they will not add more hardpoints. They have also said different omnipods can have different quirks, so we should expect arms with fewer hardpoints will offer increased arm motion/speed compared to arms with more hardpoints.

Yep. 2 ERPPC, 2 ERLLas, 2 SSRM4, 1 ton ammo, and ~23 DHS is possible, even, with hardpoint swapping. Can even put those SSRM4 in the side torso. So much negativity and premature naysaying going about, no?

Two ERPPC, 2 LPLas, decent versatility right there. At 810 meters, each ERPPC putting out 15 damage, so 30 damage at that range, when entire mech builds THRIVE off of that damage output. With the heatsinks required to fire those nonstop. CLPLas hitting for 10 damage at ~600 meters, 20 damage right there, and excellent for hitting any light mech that shows itself. Combined salvo of 50 alpha, spammable, and capable of handling assault class to light class mechs fairly easily. And that is just sticking to the original 4 E hardpoints on the Prime.

This is without even taking custom omni-fits into consideration.

No, the mindset of more hardpoints are needed needs to go away when it comes to Clan mechs. Warhawk is a better Energy platform than anything else, and the Direwolf is a better Ballistic platform, but when your energy weapons, specifically ERPPC and LPLas, are just as good as FLD ballistics and you can actually cool them effectively? Zero problem there.

Clan tech has always demanded a change in perspective. The way you build a Clan mech is you center it around one or two big guns, and anything else is supplemental at best.

I think that this is the best looking of all the released Clan Mechs. Still not spending money on anything, but it looks really good.

Config B - Right Torso right?
On the Base on a B - you may also have a third missile rack.

Anyhow I have forgotten about the quirks.... I'm look forward to buy this beast somewhen with C-Bills.

Not necessarily - even considering ghost heat for more than 2 C ER PPCs fired at the same time, after replacing LRM10 with some heatsinks/additional armor, this mech can place two 30 pinpoint damage salvos in the span of 1 second, on tremendous range.

It's crippling for anything under 70 tons, and on top of it we get good speed for it's weight, TC (dunno how it'll be handled yet) and Clan XL engines durabilty.

I seem to be in the minority with my opinion, but I do not like the design. I was ok with the TW, I really think Adder and Stormcrow are great.

I don't like the Warhawk, though. Can't pinpoint it perfectly myself, but two things are definitely in play:
1) The missile pod belongs on the shoulder. That hanging thing really looks bad.
2) I think the arms, or even more, their attachment to the torso, don't look good. It lacks the "massiveness" I remember when thinking of this mech.

Anyone else have that impression?

like other versions , the arms should be at shoulder height, that was their advantage over other mechs, for me it is another ruined mech.

actually, you've answered my question. If someone's imagination cann't picture anything except for ridiculous old battletech art and anime design, that explains a lot...
I'll recommend to google pictures by typing "mech art" "sci fi art" etc. It should be fun. There're tons of different designs.

P.S. And just in case.. battletech was born by anime.
