Just bugs the {Scrap} out of you that people are enjoying the game, doesn't it?

I think is less the fact that you're not enjoying the but more the fact you feel its necessary to continually come here and tell people how much you hate the game.

I haven't told anybody I hate the game, let alone "continually" do it.

LOL, not one bit.
I truly enjoy the stalker mentality of those who have left the game but continue to post. Mocking them has become a hobby.

Basically it comes down to two types.
Those who break up with someone and continue to drive by their house to see what they're doing
OR
Those who break up with someone and constantly contact them to tell them what horrible people they are.

Neither are healthy behaviors and need to be mocked and ridiculed relentlessly.

OK I'll admit I shouldn't have directed my reply to you personally . But it is annoying how those who do hate the game feel the need to keep posting about how much the hate it and seem to take the fact that other are enjoying it so personally

Indeed, and the People who do said mocking and ridiculing, need to be mocked and ridiculed relentlessly to point out how unhealthy it is for them to mock and ridicule said people. Hrmmm, then I suppose THOSE people need to be mocked and ridiculed by somebody else etc could go on forever

AI Is programmed to have wide aiming patterns and minimal approach vectors, this is to give single players the ability to win. all the nostalgia of the old chris Roberts space games is based on that sense of winning that was handed to you. nothing was difficult or impossible for a substandard pilot to succeed. star citizen will be a nightmare for the majority of you on a scale never experienced. people are going to use the same tactics here, there. called targets, focused fire, cheesed builds, and the worst realization with be that their approach vectors will be from unlimited directions at once. the majority of star citizens wont do well and there wll be many forum tears.

Also as I understand this is going to be a open world MMO game with what I asume will be open Player Vs Player combat . That mean people won't even alway have team mates to back them up. You could be just flying around trying to complete a simple PvE mission when a whole bunch of other players decide to attack you just because they can. It'll be just like EVE all over again. Yes there will be many forum tears.

Will definitely be interesting that's for sure, allegedly the "match making" will make it "fairer" as far as skill but only time will tell, in regards to teams on voip and focus fire etc.

The way instancing works will definitely negate massive gang ups, but it will still happen

OK I really need to look more closely at SC . I was assuming it's going to be a open world MMO like EVE online but from what you're saying it sounds like the PvP combat is going to be matchmaker/instancing based and not free and open.

They'll behave until another game is in production that they're interested in.

Then it'll be all "Roberts lied, electrons died".

Dramaqueens love drama.

If you think legendary founder angst is bad when someone decides the game is going in a direction they don't like, wait until all those rear admirals on up learn the same thing.

The meltdowns will make the kerfuffles here seem like 8 year old girls in a slap-fight.

Nope, the metaphor fits perfectly.

Morning!

I see you're still at it. Do you have this thread on notify btw? You seem very quick to spot posts here that don't quote you.

It's a ****** metaphor. Computer games are in no way anything like relationships with people. Did it occur to you that if your metaphor was good then so is that tired old one about you and Heffay being 'beaten housewives in a bad relationship who insist that everything's ok and they just walked into a door again'?

It's just a game. Trolling the site constantly after leaving would indeed be sad, but checking in to see what's going on is fairly normal whether you like it or not. It's certainly more normal than constantly trolling the forums of a game that you claim to play but spend more time starting arguments about it.

Neither you nor Heffay have a leg to stand on when it comes to forum behaviour deserving of mockery.

Are you so sure about that?

It seems to me that there are a lot of emotions invested on some games. So much so, that I have witnessed a year long relationship break apart over one. Just because there is no physical contact, doesn't mean that the connection can't be just as close.

Oohhh, looks like I struck a little close to home.

Show me where I've said everything is ok?
That's the problem with the Neckbeards, if you're not outraged, you must be a White Knight.

Nah dude,I just know how to deal with stuff better than an entitled 8 year old throwing an epic tantrum because they didn't get the candy bar they wanted.

hmm we'll have to wait and see. SC already has an hardpoint system that is a lot more thoughout than MWO's, so it will be interesting how people will abuse it and how SC will respond. I doubt it'll have as many abusable weaknesses as MWO does, honestly.

I have a bigger faith in their ability to balance the game, since they have people who are doing just that. If something goes completely out of control, it should (hypothetic thought) get fixed rather quickly.
