I attempted to purchase the Gold Timber Wolf package last night and I received a Paypal message that my purchase was cancelled - are they sold out now?

If they managed to sell them all im sure they would be blasting it all across twitter, facebook and the front MWO page (In that order) no its more likely that something went wrong with your paypal communicating with PGI but you will need to send in a ticket to find out the details if paypal didnt have any further info for you.

I honestly don't know. Maybe they are. Did you contact support?
Also, did you check your Paypal account to see if you had the funds?
Third, are you sure you input your financial information correctly?

I've had paypal stop a payment when my bank flagged it for some odd reason. My bank verifies not only the expenditure, but also the source of the payment. I was buying some in-game cash in Star Trek Online and I didn't even realize the payment was flagged until my bank called me asking for me to verify.

They did announce there was only a limited supply left. It is possible you may no longer be able to purchase a gold Timberwolf.
for all payment issues, contact support@mwomercs.com since the forum cannot actually assist you.

Yep. Contact support and make sure you are on the white list.

Check with your bank/credit card company. A $500 transaction may have thrown up some red flags in their systems. You may need to give them advance notice of such a large transaction.

They will know what you're talking about. If you're not on the white list, all of your purchase attempts will fail.

Paypal may have detected that charging $500 dollars for anything in a video game is a crime and protected you from fraud.

White list?
Basically if you haven't purchased anything at all from them before, and the first thing you do is charge 500 dollars while as a new player who hasn't even finished 25 matches in the game (or so appears at first glance), isn't the first reaction "Okay, so did you steal dad's credit card?"
It's a very unusual first purchase.

Could be a logical reason Gerhardt Jorgensson, cause there where only 50 left.
