I'm going to guess that's a false assumption. But we don't have long to wait, cUACs are going to be burst fire.

or to see that most of my team is poptarts anyway thus making things like pushing/brawling an unrealistic tactic.

Exactly, using **** weapons like flamers to kill people.

Because in every game there will always people who use the most efficient easiest way to do good. That is what is fun to them. It will always happen, you cant stop it and it will never go away.

Plus, like usual if they water down one weapon people will just switch to the next best thing, which in turn will just become the new "meta"....so the real answer is to either make other weapons better (SRMs maybe) or look for something more "global" to change the environment. (like the 3 rule, or repair and reload costs)

Natural consequence of the hardpoint restrictions. I'd love to get creative with some of my builds, but I can't because I only have X-E slots, X-B slots, and X-M slots, all fixed in location with limited space. Take for example a stalker.. You have 6 weapon slots. You can only place energy weapons in them. You cannot move them around, you have to equip then where they lay. You're sure as hell not going to fill them up with flamers.

What I find extremely FUCKlNG frustrating that the more "suboptimal" of a build I take, the stronger and more-meta the enemy team becomes.

Sorry for the outburst, but holy crap this is getting painful.

You realize that the more "open" the options, the more limited the meta becomes? Check out the variety of mechs and weapons use din MW3 multiplayer..... where you could customize to your hearts content.

I used a lowercase "L" to do it. You can use a capital "i" to get anaI to appear uncensored.

Jump jets generating heat would help reduce the effectiveness or at least the frequency that poptarts operate. They should also increase the fall damage based their weight. There should be consequences for not breaking your fall.

Wanna know why that's all you see?

-Open customization
-front loaded direct damage being the best at killing things quickly
-instant pinpoint convergence
-a game where the only point is to kill things quickly

A size based hardpoint system,like many people pleaded for in closed beta,would have nipped this ridiculousness in the bud before it even began.

Not to mention it would have allowed mechs to maintain their personality and purpose rather than everything just being a gun bag.
