No idea whether there's an IS queue, a Clan queue, or how any of this will really work...
Oh well.

Would take a Novacat too...
Im looking most forward to both of them and the Shadowcat but concerning Timeline the Gyr is the most realistic one.
Yeah, but the Nova Cat was based on the Night Gyr. Only makes sense to speed up the clock a hair if that mech is ever released. A Primes left arm, a Charlie's right, and it gets pretty close....

Vindicator and Mauler, IIRC.
Maybe they'll be released in the months before clan mechs are available for MC / cbills?

Fortunately, the only mech out of the list that can actually boat ballistics properly is the Dire Wolf, and that is in the first half of the release schedule. Mostly fixed tonnage limitations makes boating ballistics, even on the Timber Wolf, difficult. At most you can cram in two class-5s in a Timber Wolf with 5 tons of ammo, after that you better lean on missiles or energy.
Not quite accurate, you can swap the arms and side torsos on clan mechs. So you could have a Primary Config Core with an Config-A RT, Config-B RA and Config-C LT/LA. Most Clan Mechs are able to swap locations between configs to mount 4-6 ballistic hardpoints on the mech at once. The Kit-Fox and Nova are limited in that regard still but it allows more flexibility in the Thor.
Still, you're talking about 2.5 to 3 months before the option of that appears in the hands of players with only C-Bills to spend where said options are in the hands of the Pre-Orders from day one.
We still don't know if MWO will be limiting itself to the TRO stated Pod-Space Tonnage and they have been very vague on their statement of: "We understand that Classic Battletech didn't exactly distribute armor in an ideal fashion for an FPS Sim, so Clan Mechs will be able to redistribute their armor values."
Does that mean full armor customization like the IS mechs? Full armor customization up to their Stock Values? Forced total armor value to equal stock yet players can change where those points are spent?
We also don't know how they will be locking crit spaces with FF or Endo to shrink the total crit space in a location.
Still, it sits that if abusive builds are locked out of the hands of the free-players for an extended length of time while being handed to paying players on a silver platter then it will be dropping a P2W Nuke on the game. Players that 'tolerate' paying for an advantage will accept a game where you cannot pay for an advantage, yet not the other way around. Paying for an advantage hurts the game overall.
Either way, if Clan Mechs invalidate my IS mechs due to Clan Tech being better, locked to Clan Mechs and the 12v12 format being completely incompatible with the checks and balances of the BP system then I'll move on.
Not like I'm playing much right now anyways while I wait for things to get fixed.

I do not know if that is how PGI is using it - but up here in Alaska, it is very popular to move (into/out of/around the state) in November, so here at least the month has the common nickname of Movember (or it was a typo)

To those who have mentioned concerns regarding how the Clans will affect the game: We can only find out once we get there, This schedule will hopefully help you decide whether you want to pre-order some a la carte or by collection now, or await the release of them later.
To those eager for more information about the Clan Mechs themselves: We hope to address more concerns like these in the coming weeks, along with presenting more screenshots and we even have a teaser in the works!
Can we also get a definite answer to whether clans will be dropping in the same team as IS please? Honestly, i'd like to know if PUGs are going to be classed as 2nd class citizens asap.

The problem is not the hardpoint limitations, but the tonnage limitations. Consider, stripped, no extra DHS, no guns, stock armor, the TImber Wolf has 27.5 tons of room to tinker with. The mech is already near maxed out in armor, so let us shave half a ton off for 28 even. Each C-UAC5 or C-LBX-5 is 7 tons. Two of those and 5 tons of ammo is 19 tons. Now what? A third 7 ton gun puts you at 26 tons, leaving you with just enough room for three class-5's and 7 tons of ammo, with no back up weapons whatsoever.
Believe me, I have been trying to get a ballistic fit to work, but it looks like Clan tech is going to be beam and missile heavy, not ballistic heavy. Well, except the Dire Wolf. 50.5 tons of stock pod space goes a loooong way.

I hope I am wrong and CW is introduced, making IS vs clan not only relevant but fun. Until then, enjoy paying for advantage and have fun!

Again, there has been no word as if PGi will be sticking to Pod Space Tonnage, at all. The question isn't how many UAC/5s can be crammed in, it's more about how it looks with class 10s or class 20s.
And to put things in perspective, imagine how the game would be perceived if the Jager wasn't released as a normal mech and was instead in the place of the Thud in the Phoenix Package. A situation where one of the only mechs able to mount 2 AC/20s was locked behind a paywall for months.
Not saying that 2 AC/20s is a god-tier, best of the best build. Rather it is a build that exploits and abuses the lack of awareness of other players, same with the old Splat-Cats. What would make it unfair is if only those that paid in advance would be allowed to exploit a lack of situational awareness to such an extreme degree for months before regular players were allowed to love the cheese themselves.
Remember, I'm not talking about well rounded builds. I'm not even all that concerned about 50.5 tons of heavy ballistic pod-space dropping on the field for the Clan side as we should have our Mauler before then. My concern sits with the One-Trick-Pony builds (The Errant Light Horse Rejects *badum-tish*) that would be unique to Clanners getting locked behind paywalls for months at a time and how that will affect the game itself.

What about Clan Hero mechs, like Aidan's Timber Wolf, or Phelan's... uh... what Clan mech did he pilot? I forgot.
Heck, you could even release his Wolfhound along with his Clan mech in a special event. But you have to make the Wolfhound have teeth painted on, which still show up in IR vision.
