My problem isn't with 2 teams per say its with teams within teams getting put against pugs. when the pre mades have a massive advantage , remove the pre mades , leave the red and the blue team im fine with that, the pre mades? no.

Let folks who want to play solo drop in a solo queue, and let everyone else, in groups of any size, drop in the regular queue.

so you want 3 ques then? solo, 2-4 man being put together and 12's? since you see so many 2-4 mans in the solos that should tell you something about the amount that exsists, so if you're willing to have everyone wait a long time to find matches since they are scattered. If that happens you know everyone will QQ, it's a no win situation.

Bingo. I even wished this guys a GG despite my grumbles. The problem I had with the match was the poor pugs who got stomped to dirt and PGI likely lost another player or two.

But it's PGI fault in the end, not the premades? You expect the honor system to work around here?

They need to implement a PUG only queue like many people have suggested months ago. Since I can't imagine PGI being THAT incompetent, it must be intentional that we don't have one.

No.. You need 2 queues.
1) Solo queue. Only ungrouped players can join.
2) Unrestricted queue. Anyone can join.

I don't understand why people find such a simple and obvious solution so incomprehensible.. especially given that it's how virtually all other games do it.

Read it again. Roland (and a whole bunch of others) want TWO queues: a premade-free, PUG-only queue and an unrestricted premade queue that PUGs can join if they want to.

Dats what I said at the beginning of this thread, and no... I honestly don't expect it to work anymore. My soul has been crushed to the point even pugging is irritating every 3rd or so match. It's a love/hate relationship with the game. The game is great, the players are ok, the mangement is like a new york landlord... Out to lunch when your toilet has been broken for a month.

Plus id like to point out pay close attention to the scores and kills on either side of the OP's screen shot, This was a absolute failure of the matchmaker one that happens often.

Yes and no... it was also a failure on our pugs side. We warned them about flanks... and they adjusted best they could. The premades were both tarting AND smoking..... which I pointed out to them were poster children of the kind of playstyle that drives pugs away.

Basically they made perfect examples of yet another thread about how PGI needs to wake up. Otherwise it was a typical stomp.

At this point i'm for your idea tbh, because as a group player i'm tired of being the boogeyman and to blame for everything that's wrong with Mwo in many peoples opinions.//

I PUG at night...I know your pain but you just take the lumps and move on. It's still practice to get better.

There were two poptarts in the 2 premade lances.

Effectively your solution would mean that there would be the 100% solo queue and the 12-man queue (to which smaller groups could now also go to die humiliating deaths.) Soon there would be no more smaller premades, people would either play full 12-mans or solo. And the people who want to play with friends but don't have 11 friends online at all times would quit. The difference between 1 completely organized solid team and a collection of small independent teams is much greater than the difference that 2-4 mans can make in a PUG game. This became obvious to everyone who saw them when 12 mans leaked to the public queue a while back.

Which is why I'm mainly talking smack and not singling you out. This is a thread about PGI's bone'headedness but the dev has confirned it's an issue being looked into and corrected. I'm satisfied with that.

Its up to PGI really do they want to upset the larger majority if 16% of the player base so they're more likely to quit, Or upset 84% of the player base so there more likely to quit , your call pgi.

Troll moment end. No I feel your guys pain. In one instant I enjoy dropping with my fellow comrades, but then there are times when I solo and I hate being stuck on a team that get hit with 2 4-mans on the other side and not a single premade on ours.

Its a vicious cycle
