Ok...
C'mon really...
Having to wait about 10-15 mins for a match is B.S.
Before this patch you could get in a match in mere seconds! Now we're having to wait for countlesss minutes!?
Just bail on the whole "3-3-3-3" idea because this really is ridiculos Matches were fine before, so what? You had to fight 5 Atlat's: Big deal? (Didn't think so) Im not trying to come off rude or anything but ALL OF TODAY NO MATCHES WERE FOUND even in a light (Supposedly the mech with the ''lesser'' waiting time) Im just wanting to say.... The waiting time in this is the worst thing that has happened to this game
Don't get me wrong I LOVE this game which is why I'm saying about it now
I don't like it when people mess up or screw with my game ok.....
Just please change this for the better
Sincerely- JaggedJ

A bit of a sidebar here,
R&R went away for a different reason. While it contextually makes a lot of sense, especially when one is engaged in a long-term tabletop campaign. For all it adds in immersion for those BT fans, feedback at the time suggested that having a big negative number on display in the system attached to regular gameplay was generally psychologically perceived to feel like a tax on playing the game. Unfortunately, there were few ways to adjust besides simply averaging the difference those fees made into the rewards and removing the punitive or demoralizing presence it had for those players.
The system also provided a pretty brutal edge-case: Players can always find a way to put their Mechs into too much disrepair to send them into battle, and yet have already spent their CBills on equipment or such, preventing further play. While a workaround was introduced through Trial Mechs, the situation arising itself can be too demoralizing to many players in an online environment where one expects continuous progression and cannot simply load up their last saved checkpoint.
in other words the bean counters got mad that the developers introduced a system which allowed idiots to self exclude from the game due to their own bad choices, and this had the potential to impact revenue as the majority of the human population is.. yep you guessed it.
although to be fair those xl engine repair costs were hysterical.

Is it possible PGI just hates its player base and likes to screw with us by throwing us trinkets while never fixing anything substantive? I think they work on the Marie Antoinette model, 'Let them eat cake'.

Pie. Have you never visited K-town?
Also, the irony of releasing a Hero 'Mech with 4 20-tube missile hardpoints while making missiles totally dysfunctional at the same time is just icing on the...er...pie.
