i still love the IP. the base game i started playing 20 months ago is still there but there does not seem to be an end in sight for the problems and plain mistakes. either the engine is not suited to the game they are trying to make or THEY are not suited to make anything more complicated than team deathmatch.
it should not take months and years to problem solve a weapon. if so then lets face it this is the game we get and nothing more. fighting over a persistent galaxy with events and story? i don't see it happening.

This but even more. I'm not investing any more hard earned cash on this game at all, period. I've got a few MC left from a couple of months ago...I'll ride that out in premium time but after that. Yeah. I'll wait until someone else takes over the IP....the odds of PGI ever getting this thing to what they thought they were going to do...good idea, wrong people. Sorry but come on, seriously?
What I really...REALLY...need to do is keep trying to get my old MW titles to work on my high speed gaming comp. MW3 and MW4 don't seem to like it much.

Keep in mind what PGI's idea of "Fixed" is. After sacrificing certain factors of filtering, the matchmaker can reach a satisfactory speed putting matches together. Unfortunately, some of the factors that have to be sacrificed are any sort of skill filters (Elo), any kind of weight balancing, premade group vs solo player...nevermind anything complicated like putting people with similar ping ranges in the same matches with each other (duh). The end result is a matchmaker that'll get 24 people together...whether in a group or not...regardless of weight class, ECM or skill level....which is what we've had for the last 2 weeks.
In the Army, we had an acronym that seems to be quite appropriate for every other Tuesday. B.O.H.I.C.A. (Bend Over, Here It Comes Again).

Yeah ok. Happy happy joy joy. Whatever. What they really need to do is to take some of that money they've been bilking everyone out of and figure out a way to get some serious talent to work on their "product" or they won't have one to market. Either hire some new people from outside (good luck with that....from what I've seen from their website, you kinda have to move to Canada if you want to work for them. And it's not like they've got a stellar reputation at this point, y'know?) or find yourself another gaming company with more experience than you've got and subcontract or something. But it's painfully obvious at this point that the project is WAY beyond their capabilities.
Which makes me happy. Happy happy joy joy. Whatever.

Dude. Please. Unless it's something new or something they've been instructed to issue feedback on, don't expect a lot. See, I smiled.

It was them who said they were looking for the trends based on the number of threads on a particular topic, IIRC
And while I do agree that it would probably make more sense to have all the relevant feedback in a single thread, until PGI acknowledges an issue, multiple-posting is going to happen as an effort to draw their attention the issue.

If they would get off of the Wall of Silence Policy and interact a little, discussions would become much more focused, and likely a lot more productive at best... At worst, less toxic.
Look how popular AND civil the Karl Berg thread is...
