Finally broke 2000! For the lone wolves!

You Lone Wolves have got some pretty impressive high scorers out there, and if you do end up winning the challenge it will be definitely well deserved.

Side note though, I can't help but laugh at the idea of the "Lone Wolves" winning the "Faction Challenge". From a comedic viewpoint it's gold.

"Let's win this by ourselves...together!"

"But. we don't even have a flag!"

"We will dedicate our victory to...ummm...well? Who cares, we're winning, we'll decide later!"

"Well, but 'nothing'? That doesn't really inspire anyone now does it?"

"Alright, how about Bacon, Fries and Donuts? Who doesn't like at least one of those things?"

"Very well...we will rally our forces for the sublime trinity of Bacon, Fries and Donuts!"

"Forward, for Bacon, Fries and Donuts!"

"B.F.D. Forever!"

Then again, I'm pretty tired, and it's been a long day at work, soooo.

*Edited to add that, now that I think about it, "Let's win this by ourselves...together!" might by my new rallying cry in PuGs when solo dropping.

I am currently in 16 place. I dedicate my performance to Sarah.

yo guys, what do you get for TIE match?

For winning you get 300 XP, for losing you get 100. You'd think 200 for a tie, but infact you get ZERO XP.

I didn't bother, no "Black Knights" faction so I said to myself, "Screw it".

Are they really "Lone Wolves" or are they Clanners with no banners?

EDIT: Also, there are some people that switch to weaker factions for tourneys to get better odds of winning. May not be beneficial anymore since several have caught on to that little trick.

Several of them are (I am sure)

But if you dig around the Clan forums much - most of the Clanners carry House banners.

That's why the opt in is being done this way for this tourney. Once you opt in, all your points will be calculated for the faction you opted with. Even if you change factions mid-way through the tourney, the system counts your points for faction 1 not faction 2.

I only play PUG since I registered 4 months ago. So I think it was the best faction for me ^_^
Since I don't mean to drop in groups it will be great having my lone wolves bannes, thanks anyone who contributed ^_^

Congrats to the Lone Wolves for winning the tourney... this group team bunch of rag tag players did alright.

I still think there was a fix (although, Liao came last again).

In any case... congrats again and I did actually try this time around. I guess it wasn't enough because I only placed @ 51 (which, doesn't count since it counts the top 50 ^_^ )

Even though I find it "funny" seeing lights with over a 1000 damage - 7 kills - 5 assists ...
The Tournament was real fun again.
Something to fight for, regardles which faction you are with.

PGI ... You guys should bring on more of those Tournaments.
"Wheight Class Torunament", "Lance Tournament", whatever Tournament ..

It is serious fun.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers

This would be great and balance a bit the games that were 5 heavy 5 assault and then other class usually ^_^

Congrats to the Lone Wolves WHO ARE NOT A FACTION, AND CAN'T BE A FACTION. For winning the faction war.

In all seriousness, you guys pulled ahead like crazy, went from 5th to 1st almost over night.

Congrats to the winner.

But i have to say the tournament was not fun. I really wish PGI change their scoring formula. Spotting and crippling mech should be taken in account, no just kills, we're not playing CoD. And i don't even talk about the mandatory arty/airstrike spamming to reach top 20.
