For the same reason a lot of Atlases carry an LRM. To help keep heads down and to have something to shoot while you inch your way forward at 48kph.

It's not like Clan LRMs take up much space, or weigh much.

Yeah, mixed Dire Wolves will probably have a couple LRM-10s or an LRM-15 just for something to do. Granted Atlases especially need that indirect fire because of their otherwise low-slung firing locations. If the torso ballistics are located anywhere near the missile pods on a Dire Wolf, it's gonna be able to fire over near anything.

That silver/gray color is sick.I've always preferred the gunmetal look.I wants it.

won't argue that. Thankfully the Construction Clown colors are all modifiable, so as not to mar the gunmetal part.

I just noticed that the media pictures show the feet angling to the hills properly.

Is it bad that I like the non-unique geometry better? I think the pre-ordered one makes the legs look a lot longer than they are compared to the generic geometry.

I felt the same way about the Adder's toaster-crotch.

I also prefer the non-unique geometry. So you are not alone.

Come to think of it,I believe I actually prefer the non-unique versions of most of the clan mechs better. At least so far as i can tell from the few screenshots i've seen anyways.

Yeah I'm in the same boat about that too. I do like the hood on the unique geometry better though.

The gunmetal DW is one sexy beast though. That will truly be a scary mech to round a corner on and come face to face with. Poptarts will eat it alive though.

Eh I'm mixed. I like the Timberwolf's unique geometry a lot more, but the Thor and DW I like the general one better.

I like the rounded plates on the shins, looks more like its made to absorb fire and its in style with MW4. I just wish they'd be single colour.

The non unique summoner looks cooler though, I'd say the same for the madcat.

What happened to my Dashi? It has gone from a sleek cool looking killing machine -- to clown nose?
Well on the bright side at least, while the IS pilots are laughing their heads off I will be blowing them to bits with 4x clultra5's

I personally preferred the concept art over the render. The center bulge is too big.

I agree, but we don't know the hitboxes yet if thats what you're getting at.

Personally I kinda like the fat look its got, I want a 100 tonner to be big and bulky like the Atlas. I'd prefer a nosecone shaped more like the Novas though and for the torso height to shrink a little.
