Oh dear god that nose is fugly. Looks closer to a goddamned airplane cockpit with legs more than the death machine it's supposed to be.

That mech needs the drawback of being easy to hit, since its going to be pumping out 10x more firepower then an Atlas would ever ever ever dream of. Getting in front of that thing....is going to be death, any IS mech is going to be vaporized by that thing, Clan vs Clan will be an interesting fight.

Perspective of the photo might be making it look like the overhang is bigger than it really is. Might also account for the torso looking way too god damned big in relation to the arms and legs. I mean, jesus. It makes its arms and legs look too small.

If it is perspective, than the remaining problem is that atrocious center torso. It is neither a hemispherical bubble nor a B-29esque protrusion. Instead it looks like someone bolted an old cargo airliner's cockpit and fuselage onto the front of a cardboard box. Absolutely not a good look. By comparison to the concept art, it looks about a third bigger than expected, with a far less continuous curve.

While I am hoping better photo angles can alleviate some of it, the proportions just seem so off.

It's going to pump out 10x more firepower...for 5-10 seconds before it overheats for the rest of the match.

That dome went from being a phallus to R2D2's head!

The arm and 'phallus' are the same size in the concept.
The 'dome' (which is what it is instead of a phallus now) is twice the vertical height of the arm in the 3D model.

I prefer the concept image's bullet-like shape better. Reminded me of a 357 round or the end of a lipstick.

The 3D model is just a huge red button in a box that says "Do not push with AC/20s."
