Nonsense. I originally replied to someone that claimed gauss wasn't nerfed, to which I stated there was a clearly DPS nerf by increasing the cooldown of the weapon. You claimed DPS was irrelevant for snipers, then I said, if it's irrelevant, let's increase the cooldown to 1 minute. Then, you objected and said:

"Why not make it a more realistic number?

Double or triple the cool down on the Gauss? It wouldn't really matter."

Then I replied:

"Because, if it is truly irrelevant, then a one minute cooldown is just as realistic as a five second, or ten second cooldown. The fact that you think one minute is not realistic shows that, despite what you say, DPS is not irrelevant for snipers."

And you said:

"DPS is still irrellevant. The problem is one minute puts it way outside the realm of other weapons in the game."

This is just illogical. If it's really irrelevant, then it doesn't matter if we set the cooldown to one minute. Now, mind you, I don't really think we should do that, I'm just proving a point. The fact that you think one minute is not realistic, and the cooldown needs to be in line with other weapons shows that even you don't really think the DPS is irrelevant. You probably should just say it's not the most important stat for snipers, instead of trying to make the unsupportable claim that it is irrelevant.

Griffin 3M - 2 m lasers, 2 streaks, 2 ASRM6 (I play this the most lately)
Quickdraw IV - 2 AC10, 2 m lasers
Dragon Fang - 1 PPC, 2 L laser, 1 LRM10

So yeah, either you are talking out your behind or you have me confused with someone else.

I find it hilarious that clan UACs are described as how all ACs should work.
PGI..they aren't individual slugs.
They were never meant to be individual slugs.

Funny the biggest reason the Pinpoint meta exists, is because of one of your largest divergences from TT.

Maybe if you'd used your damn brains instead of "Being different!1111" we wouldn't have the 2AC 2PPC meta.
