With all the very-long shot taking you saw in earlier matches, I can understand completely. Also, zero minimum range.
Add in the AC range nerfs and it might even be ahead of the game, but go figure. It's HoL.

Ah I deleted my post and you still responded. Yea for general gameplay I'd go for 1JJonly&17DHS to make the Gauss more attractive compared to 2xAC version. 16 Head Armor to avoid one-shot kills from 30 Alpha. But then again I've lost countless 1v1s against heim.

The AC nerf shouldn't affect most players as much in my opinion. Taking accurate shots from 800+m is not exactly what most people can do consistently. At the same time the nerf will put more emphasis (seperation) on real Long Range Sniper Builds (Gauss).
Personally I find the AC20 Nerf fairly undeserved.

If you are going to be in the 20s effective ranges (which would be any of the ones it outdamages the 10 in) then that extra ton is well worth it.
If not (which is a larger range spectrum or whatever the term would be) then you want the 10.
Cannot say I am really looking forward to it, since I make a fair amount of "long" shots in my Yenlo - but at the same time not dropping the range would make the 10 worthless.

I don't think 2 Jumpjets is necessary.
For Caustic, I did use 2xPPC 1xGauss. An ERPPC is unnecessary because pretty much everything is in range and the map is too damn hot.
The ERPPC works on every map that isn't ridiculously hot like Terra Therma or Caustic.
