This stuff has bugged me since launch. I only mention it now because I thought we'd have seen more progress at this point.

-- Textures on the mechs make them seem like plastic and not metal

-- Mechs lack a sense of weight when they move

-- I don't get a sense of scale in the cockpit view

-- Weapon sounds and firing effects aren't iconic

-- Mech sound design lacks depth. We should be hearing more than foot stomping and torso twisting. Stuff like joints moving, air condition in the cockpit, hum of electronics and a different sound for the reactor, sound of things being crushed under our feet as we walk. Different sounds when we brush up against things (Buildings, rock formations, etc)

-- Visual art style is gray and muddy

-- death animations don't seem to fully take into account the size and scale of mechs

-- Mechs get stuck on objects like statues or small trucks the should be able crush

immersion is definitely one area thats lacking in this game.

-no cockpit glass effects (cracked/burnt glass, etc...)
-no destructible terrain/trees/buildings/cars, etc...
-the maps are very bland and undetailed compared to what cryengine is capable of
-death animations/ragdolling/damage animations could definitely be better, particularly with regard to destroyed legs (no destroyed leg animation, even MW3 had that)
-scaling is inconsistent from map to map

Textures bug me somewhat i think it's strange that their are trees as tall as my mech and rocks that are as large as my mech's foot. If im in a 55 ton or large mech and i am several thousand feet off the ground, then how is this stuff even close to my head level. They must have some really big trees on these planets. It doesn't bother me to the point where i don't want to play it though. I think though that the weapon sounds are the best part, the reloading of the LRM's or the charging of the guass rifle is music to my ears

Yeah, I've been saying driving a mech feels more like driving a sports car in this game than a walking talk. Just seems a bit off, if the reticle and cockpit swayed a little as you lumbered along might make it feel more immersive.

The Victor seems about right, it handles like a brick with legs. But still needs the cockpit sway.

when the sped up the leg movement, it made assaults feel like lights inside of big lumbering machines.

guys, lets be honest, this company cant deliver, its been proven on every patch how they can break things instead of improving, performance issues, GUi issues, f2p business model, and the list goes on.

Asking for these features in the current state of the game is like asking the cream before eating the pie (properly).

Igp development of the game is on a snail pace, and truthfully i hope, igp proves me wrong, but lets see how tomorrow patch brakes something else and then ´´fix´´ it in another 2 weeks.

and this is coming from a optimistic man.

I like the Apocalyptic grays and muddy textures and depth to me, death animations arent as epic as they could be but the final kill explosions are pretty amazing.

And last but not least being stuck on tiny things is massively BS! And they need to fix it, I also think sounds are close to right but not fully there. Use AC10s for a more immersive sound expierience, or gauss and set it to all firing groups for a huge green reticule when ready to fire (also advanced zoom).

They are also expanding the immersion biut by bit (cockpit glass) screen shake for JJs.

Thats cause mechs are not several thousands of feet tall. Most mechs are between 8-14 Meters with the Atlas at around 16 meters. So 1 Meter= 3.28 Feet, therefore 16m(meters) x 3.28ft(feet)= 52 feet tall.

The California Redwood tree reaches somewhere around 379feet.

Illustration always help with the mind to visualize scale. I would know as a geology grad student, something could look the size of a nickle in a picture, but in reality it is 25 feet wide lol.

i wish we could fell parts of buildings or cause buildings to fall a certain way to block off paths and crush advancing units. lrms would be alot more use full.

but then the griefing we could cause........

He gave a pretty detailed list of his expectations. What is there not to get?
