I Respect Clan Wolf too much to be okay with these remade atrocities. I know that they can not Reuse the originals but at least make something at Resembles it? Why do they have the Originals for the IS(except FRR)

I prefer the new Icon over the old one. It actually shows how intimidating the clans are.

Yeah it doesn't look much like a Wolf, more like a Coyote (no offense Clan Coyote). I think they shouldn't have used the black nor as much shading as they did. It really kills the original look. I won't even comment on the snout.

Well actually the old one is that one sticking in our minds.. And trust me it looks really proud and martial. Well, these redesigned logos look not bad on the forums but on my 'Mech i absolutely demand classic Clan/Galaxy/Cluster decals..

And the Wolf icon turned out not too bad anyway, compared to the CGB icon

EDIT: and the stars keep bugging me.

I will get used to them but i will always prefere the classic emblems

Im starting to like it a bit more. It is hard to let go of old things. Still i will never get used to these. At least work on it a bit more.

In all fairness, the Art is real good and it is done well. Congrats to the Artist but......

I actually think it's pretty close to the original in terms of the overall shape and design, but the one thing that bugs me is that they added an actual eye, whereas the original just has the outline of the eye socket.

I think if they removed the yellow eye and kept everything else as it is I wouldn't have any problems with it.

The biggest problems IMHO are the empty stars (why? Just why?!) and the overall expression of the wolf. It looks mad.. a "mad dog"

I like it and having 2 German Shepherds and 2 Doberman Pinschers, I would say that they got the nose scrunch down for a pissed off puppy. My biggest gripe is that yellow eye that instantly draws you to it and it looks out of place staring at you from the side rather than looking straight ahead like most dogs do. Change the color a little to blend with the color scheme and change its perspective to make it look like it is staring straight ahead at its enemies, and I will be happy.
