Great thread I will post my specs as soon as they are finalized. Sidenote I have started a pole in the suggestions forum asking that there be a hardware forum section check it out here http://mwomercs.com/...-forum-section/ and if the OP could put this in his post that would be awesome!

Luckily, had to upgrade when Skyrim came around:
Core i5 2500k (OC'ed to 4.4GHz)
8GB Corsair XMS3 RAM
Sapphire Z68 Pure Platinum MoBo
2x 1TB WD SATA 3G in RAID 0
2x Radeon 5850 1GB Vapor X in Crossfire
All tucked into a Zalman GS1000 Plus with more fans than a hovercraft... the wife's got me licked with presentation, though... her case is simply enormous compared to my so-called "full tower"

I don't have a killer RIG, but it does the job fairly well
Intel i3 @ 2.90Ghz
4GB DDR3 RAM
Palit Nvidia GeForce 9800 1GB
Windows 7 64 bit
I was working on a very tight budget. Hoping to upgrade the Graphics card soon to something a little more respectable.

You can get a 560 Ti for like $300 now and the one I have destroys everything in sight so far, including Crysis 2 @ Ultra DX11 w/ 32xAA 16xAF 8xTAA with no slowdowns at all, like not even a hint, it runs as smooth as Quake 3. My only concern is your processor bottlenecking it (that's LGA1156 right? If it's LGA1155 you might be OK, what with the new architecture and all.)

Nvidia's 448 core 560ti (curse their constant propensity to make entirely different cards share the same name) is at a great price-point right now. Like you say, it's about $300, and it's a pretty nice little upgrade from the earlier model.

The Medion Erazer is actually the same as the MSI Gaming Notebooks.

8 Gigs of DDR3 RAM.

2x WD Velociraptor 74 Gig 10k rpm in a Raid0
1x1TB WD caviar black
1x2TBWD caviar green
All in an old Thermaltake Armor va8000BWS

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ @ 3.02GHz
4GB RAM <-- More coming for birthday. Woot.
GeForce 8600 GT <-- Still trying to get better. Hard when the most you can save is $20/month.
Nostromo n52 <-- Love it.
Yes the game runs. A little more tweaking and it should be playable, but since I do support roll I can handle this as is, for now. All upgrades thus far have been generous donations from friends.
