Warframe solo is fun until the Stalker shows up and beats you to death with your own scrotum for the first time, thats always fun.
Stalker is a blast once you've seen him a few times. I always feared him until I had proper equipment. Now I laugh when he spawns and I have proper stuff or find a nice wide open room, and prepare for a challenging (but fun) fight when I have low level equipment.

Unless your 25 waves into an Outer Terminus defence and you have to choose between wiping the stalker or defending the pod...
Well, if you read up on the 3pv it was more or less forced upon them according to the devs (hey it might be a lie too, what do I know) but on the positive side you can now toggle that in private lobbys.
Should mention, "Phase 1 CW" 90 days after the reveal if you mean the "launch" version, and all that was supposed to be was being able to make your guilds. (Zhizhu merc corp for example). (Actual CW [Phase 3] wasn't supposed to be here until "6" months after that video. So June 2014. In December however they did have a command chair by Russ that said "We won't make it in time. Realistically August or September 2014.")
If you mean in closed beta to open beta as release, then yeah they never made it for that one.
But on this, you made me look at Dev Blog 0. Where the lack of control over the I.P. made PGI very iffy. There was something I was looking for which isn't there anymore, but it was a reference to Microsoft insisting on a 3rd person perspective, Xbox exclusive (this is still there), and other complications that meant huge financial risk that led to its shutdown. Basically another Mech Assault.
(From here it's completely unrelated to anything you said).
While there, however, I managed to rewatch this old video.
Listen to that PPC.
eeeEEEyooown!
That my friends is the sound of a PPC charging up to fire. In fact it apparently took 0.5 seconds to prepare a PPC to fire.
I find that interesting... I really do...because I've been asking for that since 2013 when host state rewind was first implemented...which removed the 0.5 second delay from clicking to fire a PPC...and the PPC firing.
Not getting this iteration of the clan pack. Aside from the obvious not sure what I am buying into there is just no value in buying the bundle. I have tons of c-bills, months of banked premium time and lots of MC so I'll just wait it out. The mechs will no doubt undergo massive balance changes from when they are first launched so there is almost no point in getting early (ie pre-cbill availability). Also I can't see all the mechs being viable. Like I use 2-3 mechs from my overlord package the bundled purchase will just be a waste so I'll wait until the good ones go on sale.
A Coffee Cup? I don't need anything cluttering my view, I already have cockpit struts and external railings to do that.
Signed Digital Concept Art and Digital Wallpaper? Jpegs...? You seriously expect me to value those in some way?
Camo colours and patterns? Well ok, these do have a little appeal. A couple of bucks worth of value in total.
PGI, if you want to give me more Premium Time, or some additional Modules, or something useful in the game (even additional Omnipods or weapons) then they'd genuinely qualify as "incentives". Otherwise, it's mostly just worthless digital junk which has no bearing on my decision to buy or not buy.
I'm happy with my Project Phoenix package. I was tempted to get some Clan stuff at so point, but so glad I didn't go for it.
The best thing about the Clan Plackages are the Forum Avatar. That Clan Wolf Avatar really fits well with my Overlord badge.
I feel the same way, all PGI needed to do was release an nice map pack at the same time and i would probably have bought something from the 'clan' stuff. Same old maps and some new meshes ... meh.

This, we really do need some new maps. 'Mechs are fine and I'm loving the fact we get new ones in a week but to be honest i would of liked some new maps. With no new maps the game feels stagnant to me playing sometimes the same map like 5 times in a row..

i still wonder how a "signed" jpg picture is an incentive to buy a daishi-pack at minimum... *scratches hat*...since when do digital goods have any value other than their pure function?
i mean, if they´d send you a unique concept art, an actual HARD copy... one that you can keep in a frame and maybe sell it in 20 years when some nostalgic MW collector pays some good money for it, that i could understand...
but a damn jpg or what ever format?
lol exactly the 'incentive' is your you to spend money on a digital item of no use that remains the intellectual property of PGI
same as the mug its a cockpit item whoopie ! now if it was something they mailed to me, that I could drink out of I might have bought a clan set (even though, I'm a sworn Is pilot).
Star Trek online I bought a special copy for the T-shirt, there is good marketing and PGI's

They did. But without any of the 'benefits' of the pre-order. I would imagine we'll see the same here.
I won't be even using the CBill versions.
Three packages, Founders, Pheonix, and Clans only garantee is that they will come with broken content, and false advertising, yet people still buy them.
Founders, game people bought into never going to happen now, and with the changes that have been made if they truely are any good as developers must have know they we're making promises they couldn't keep.
Pheonix parts still not working, and now being told even the year over due war is going to be even later, even further behind before loyalty points work,if ever 'exculsive' suddenly being turned into 'free' over night.
Clans targeting computers late, and possibly more, fail yet to come.

That video has the game play I want. Slower, more back and forth, ducking in and out of cover, tight streets, terrain destruction, including building destruction that impacts mechs.
Funny how a 5 year old flash animation can still manage to grab my attention more than an up and working title.
Founders, game people bought into never going to happen now, and with the changes that have been made if they truely are any good as developers must have know they we're making promises they couldn't keep.
I think this is still what's making me most angry: that I was lied to outright about projected content and delivery rate.
I'm at a point where I don't really even care if they deliver in another 2 years on a lot of this stuff... I've already been playing this game for 2 years, and that content was supposed to have been delivered a long time ago. I rarely play a game, as my main game, for more than a few years. Day of Defeat, Day of Defeat: Source, Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2... each held my attention for around 2 years, and that was with significant support to help create and run my own servers and communities. This game is consistently failed at support for groups, minus the most recent private matches, which still lack a searchable lobby.
I want to, I really want to buy mechs, but this game is a disaster and now they tell us they didn't even finish the weapons? Maybe less hero mechs and more FIXING THE DAMN GAME.

The game I want to play is so complex it will probably never get made - and I have been waiting for it since Mech2.
Destruction of parts of the mechs that have yet to even have any pressence outside of a few novels (IE a laser melting the casing ejection port on an autocannon - rendering the AC useless - without destroying it - damaging the loading mechanism - or the stabalizers - or the specific threads of myomer fibers - without actually destroying the legs ability to move)
Punching holes in specific parts of the arm or leg or torso - not just pounding him with a small laser and somehow removing armor from the entire left side of an Altas....

I have said it before - I will say it again.
If you have proof that they have deliberately and knowingly lied to you - that is called Fraud.
Fraud is a serious crime - and if you have proof of that and chose not to actually do anything about it (and no - whining on the forum does not count) then you are just as much to blame for the state of things as they are.
Just like someone witnessing a murder but not saying anything can be held responsible for the murderer remaining at large.
TLDR: if you have proof that they have lied to you - put up or shut up.
They're playing the game with the social reward percentages again. Mildly entertaining. I already bought in so it doesn't bother me either way, but it's kind of shady. At least there has been a tiny bit of confidence restored from the even more improved communication as of late.
TLDR: if you have proof that they have lied to you - put up or shut up.
I don't much care either way, but mighty hard with stuff like mwomercs.com/robots.txt in place, which is sort of like internet c**kblocking for websites like web.archive.org.

Allow me to rephrase that TLDR since apparently 2 paragraphs of 1 sentence each was actually to long for you.
If you have proof that they lied to you that is a legal crime.
Do something about it or shut up.
Which means - take it up with the law........ or shut up.

I have no proof. And I'm sorry, but I'm not going to shut up about it. It's entirely possible they're incompetent at determining work load and time projected time lines for work. But it's either that (repeatedly) or they lied (repeatedly).
Either way my confidence in the developers to deliver the game they presented to Founders through the Dev Diaries is essentially nil.
And I agree, I would love a much more simulation oriented mech experience(perhaps not down to a million buttons, but certainly with the kind of granularity in damage you're describing), particularly with the advent of technology like TrackIR and Oculus Rift.
Either way my confidence in the developers to deliver the game they presented to Founders through the Dev Diaries is essentially nil.
So you have no proof - but you believe it strong enough that you are going to keep waving the flag?
Gotcha.
For the record though?
My confidence that any developer could make the game I want never existed.
My opinion on MWO can be summed up as such:
After MW4 actively peed on the game mechanics....
After Mechassault...
After MW:LL did just as much changing as MWO has - if not even more.....
(gee - and to think they could have got the license to make MWLL into MWO..........)
MWO is at least a step in the right direction.

That does wonders for the way people respond to you.
But then, I guess PGI is the only one who should be getting in trouble for being lousy at communication.

THAT attitude however - is beyond old and tired.
That attitude.... is the same sort of poor communication and thinking.....that people keep getting upset at PGI for having.
