and all the impatient sheepels just coughed up their wallets.

very clever PGI, we know nothing will come of this test just like the 3 used for UI 2.0 but the impatient will cough up.

Exactly, note the last sales pitch in the announcement, Hurry buy now so you can test.
With a couple of days to go before release they cant fix anything really so its just a sales pitch.

I've had two very poorly timed weeks off work and will be back at it next week when the Clans are released, this test will be my only chance to play clan mechs till at least the weekend following the release probably longer.

Hey guys - especially PGI people - if you haven't noticed yet, smurfynet is a superhero for the community because of his awesome smurfy.net online 'mechlab resource. He has tirelessly updated the service for a few years now and also provided you with a perfect model of a 'mech configuration UI. In this message he states that it's difficult for him to add clan stuff to his service (which he will try to do to the best of his ability based on test server data) because he doesn't have clan 'mechs and thus can't really test them.

So, how about someone at PGI go and add a few (like 8) of them to his account. It's not only useful for you as well as the player base, but he has darned well also deserved it.

Considering how massive of a resource this website is, he/she definitely deserves it. Should give them a Gold pack of their choosing tbh. If it weren't for Smurfy's, I personally wouldn't know what's what, especially with UI 2.0.

Nope! The final patch to add Clans will be added tomorrow when we begin the test. Downloading now and preparing allows you to skip ahead of the crowd by a few gigs of installation. :) (This also saves some stress on our systems tomorrow when more people will be downloading simultaeneously the moment it goes live)

Thank you for the response... appreciated.

I haven't played in so long I prolly forgot how. However, I couldn't miss this chance to leg me some gold mechs. Prepare to die clanner scum! (might have to try out a few clan mechs after I scrap some of them first)

Will sadly miss the public test because I live in Korea unless it magically turns to a 24 hour test. As my Dad would say, god grant me patience, and grant it to me right now!

Just a thought~ why not let everyone test drive the clan mechs rather than just the people who pre-ordered? Been on the fence on this for a long time, and the opportunity to try before I buy might just make a sale.

my guess would be because the test servers cant deal with as much trafic as the normal server.

Yes people are sheeple because for what, 4 hours of work they can buy the best clan pack and avoid a cbill grind oh noes!

Both remarks were dense, just order and cancel if you don't like it

All players who pre-order any Clan Mechs or Collection before the same time tomorrow, June 12th, 2014 at 10 AM PDT, will be able to test drive their pre-ordered 'Mechs during the event

A pre-emptive strike is far more sudden than a scheduled date. :)

You have no idea how much this upsets me. I've stated nothing but either giving us the opportunity to test or a demonstration video. Now you've scheduled a public test date while I am working. This 3 hour time difference is killing me. I guess I'll just have to watch youtube videos of it in action.

Clanners, don't fail me! Post some stuff to youtube!

well someone has poor memeory lets take a refreasher course in suckers 101

this package is same to phoenix in structure, PGI has made no last call for any refunds on clans thus far right? so what happened last time.

http://mwomercs.com/...-on-pre-orders/

Posted Image

so if you decided to go for a refund 5 days before injection you were screwed and how many days after the test before clans are injected? 5 days. so after the test PGI will claim you're too late for refunds as per previous policies with regards to 1 time packs.

well done suckers after the test you'll be stuck with them. no refunds. no free for a trial clan mechs unless niko reports otherwise but he doesn't have to you're all sheepels you won't all rush to file for refunds.

as i said clever pgi you made the impateint cough up.
