I work 10:00am to most likely 9:00pm EST Sunday. Which means I'll have 5 hours to test my anti-clan builds out?
Awesome.
May ultimately decided whether I break my vow and go A La Carte route for a few chassis.

That's not really good for testing purposes, as that makes bug testing a chore. It's harder to filter what's what if you don't know what was addressed... even if it was addressed properly (or even attempted to be addressed).
I know it "feels inconvenient" to not write patch notes+fixes, but reporting known fixes bugs goes a long way in repairing reputations. I should not have to find out through "normal play" that a bug is fixed or more importantly to "never be aware" that a bug is staying unfixed. It's a +1 for communication WHEN YOU REPORT ALL FIXED BUGS. Otherwise, it's a -1 for effort.
Edit:
PTS patch for Sunday is online

Kind of have to agree with this. I saw a lot of people running stock mechs, or slightly tweeked stock mechs because they couldn't afford to buy a lot of goodies.
If people had a lot of cash to play around with, I think matches would have been much more intense than they had been.
If it says anything, I sold some spare engines (it's a test server) and a couple of mechs. Instant 15 million (I'd never do this in the actual server unless I got fed up with a mech or no longer had a use for an engine).
At the end of everything I did, I had a good 8 million left.
Part of what I did to save money was once I finished testing a mech I stripped it bare. This meant more free Clan weapons, heatsinks, armor, etc. to use on the next one.

Is there any stats regarding the lock-on times of clan LRMs and SSRMs compared with IS ssrm2?
i was using CSSRM-4 and the lock-on time was nearly 2 times longer than that of an IS SSRM2.

Dumped 50 IS mechs and a couple hundred weapons. I had 12m to start, and virtually unlimited funds after. Also, I've no idea why I had 70+ medium lasers in my inventory anyways (all 50 of my mechs have functional load outs equipped).
I thought this would stress me (previous test servers I've struggled to do that even knowing it was temporary) but this time? Barely a blip.
Also... It's kind of interesting. While I'm sure that Clan Mechs will be absurdly expensive to buy, its actually very cheap to kit them out. No DHS tax, fixed engines... Not to mention that clan mech default load outs are surprisingly effective.
Stock Mondays will be a BT purists clan invasion wet dream.
