While I feel your pain, this is not entirely correct. The test starts at 20:00 CEST, that`smack in the middle of Western european primetime.

may I suggest (hailing from the European time zone) to have a test run on Saturdays, even with the same times?
U.S. Players should be able to test the whole day, European players longer into the night (since Sunday should be off) and Eastern + Oceania players should have the night and Sunday mornings till mid day.

Considering the clan mechs go live this Tuesday for everyone, kinda a moot request really at least in regards to clan mechs. PGI is opening the test server back up to test some changes, and while I believe this is something they should do more regularly to begin with, I can understand the man power and time it takes to get these situations going on the test server for a smaller team and less resources since IGP doesn't seem like the best run publisher in regards to taking resources from one project to throw at others.
At any rate 4 and a half more hours til Clan mech goodness!

In the good side at least it is a short wait till the mech I would play. Kit Fox S with 1x CERL 1x CERPPC 1x ERML ECM. And Nova for my medium.
