My speculation: Among the first 12 BattleMechs announce, 3 were not seen within the Classic BattleTech introductory box set, with the other 9 being part of it. This gives us a 1 out of 4 ratio of box set mechs versus non box set Mechs. With 'Mech 13, we see another 'Mech present in the box set. I think it's safe to say that we will see 2 more from the box set, and one which is not. I'm thinking they'll settle at 16 'Mechs. It's a nice base 2 number.

Dragon has already been confirmed.

Enforcer would be sweet. Crab would be another nice addition. They say in the IGN videos that the medium mechs are the workhorses of the battlefield, so to me they should have more of those than the other weights. As long as eventually they have a wide range of mechs available I'll be happy.

Mauler (would rather have Battlemaster, but same situation as Thunderbolt).

After that who knows, but I figure they will continue going with some classics.

They could also go the Urbanmech/Jagermech/Annihilator (which fits the light/heavy/assault gaps) route, which would be kinda fun for the lolz.
