You're talking about the radar deprivation module? I don't see how it's P2W when anyone can get it with GXP and c-bills. You don't have to pay a penny for it.

No. The BS that needed to stop was people loading up on advanced target decay and continuing to hit targets for an absurd amount of time after they have already broken LOS.
You fire at a target. They break LOS. So what's guiding the missiles? You have no teammate, no TAG, no NARC, and no UAV.
The only thing this module does it make LOS radar behave the way it's supposed to behave.
I can recall at least 20+ anti-LRM threads, and the most common response to people complaining about missiles was, "Use cover noob."
Guess what, we're using cover now, by breaking LOS with the radar system on your mech that is also responsible for guiding missiles. Don't like it? Go complain to a group of scientists that study electromagnetic theory and learn the errors of your ways.

Thats actually a valid point. With Target Retention you should still have some lock on time... Still, can't do much about it now...

I wouldn't mind it if they counteracted each other to set the retention to 'normal'. Not this all or nothing situation that we have now.

That said, like all good LRM-drivers, I'm angling for a solid LOS-lock anyway.
So now I'm thinking I'll have to experiment with my Cat tonight...

How is it Pay2win if you can unlock it with GXP and cbills? or are they not available to anyone atm?

While I don't know if I agree with the guy, this statement is just hostile nonsense. These missles are not laser guided, and would not require eyes on until contact.

However, it is not P2W. Look up the definition before you use a word and you might not make such basic mistakes. RD is available via GXP/C-bills, just like very other module in the game.

Been seeing a lot of adapting with lights running spotter duties and LRMs are doing just fine. It's kind of funny how much people harp on about wanting ROLE warfare, then when it's added they just QQ about it.
Teamwork is indeed OP.
