Adder Builds

Here's one I've been playing with: CGauss w/ 25 rounds of ammo (375 net damage if you can get it) and 3 CERSmalls
ADR-PRIME
Anyway, you know what I love most about this mech? It purrs. It literally purrs like a kitten. A cute baby Puma kitten that punches you in the face with an electromagnetically hurled supersonic slug and then curls up in your lap and falls asleep.

Adder with UAC 20 can be really nasty, made mostly good experiences

I would run the same build but with a lb20x if I had one, but ammo looks like it would be such a problem.
I just dont know tho even going down to a lb10x it just dosnt look right to me on paper, especially since I have a 3m cicada with a lb10x and 2ml with ecm that goes like 130kph
If I decide to buy one when they come around for cbills I would prob try this http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ae38ce799f3ed38 and just not let up on the lb5x fire as it seems to have a decent dakka

messing with 3 ERML and 1 UAC 10 currently, it is a good fit imo
ALSO, 2 LRM15's, 2 ERML's and 6 tons of ammo is effective, clan light missile boats are actually fairly effective

It makes a great LRM mech, with the ER med providing great med/long range firepower.

(I used the D for this build because it is the only variant I have mastered so far.)

Artemis on the SRM4 is heavy, but you really need Artemis if you want to hit at the end of the SRM range.
It moves so slowly that I sometimes think it's ok to stand still because it is a medium... except it is not. And, overheating in this small light is easy and stupid.
The advantage of the Adder over the Kit Fox is its high-mounted hard points at cockpit height, but that is about it?

Good Loadout !
I have many 700-900dmg+ Matches with the Adder's
-the higher mounted Hardpoints
-more Armor
-Structure Strengh Legs +5%
-Enegy hardpoints in Sidetorso
make it much better then the Kitfox.
Kitfox have ECM and JJ, but loose very fast a leg, and primary Weapons in the arm's.

For the A, I use to LRM 15s and 2 ER ML and as much ammos as can fit. When I need to play a defensive role with it I play it with an ER PPC and 3 Streak 4s for the quicker cooldown.
The D I've never figured out something I really like yet, I did the 3 ER ML + UAC 10 build initially, now am using a LBX-5 an SRM 6 and 2 ER ML. I love the LBX-5 but on the Adder srms suck without artemis and I don't feel like putting it on my mech cause I probably wont keep it.

You could do 15 doubles and more armor but the heat effeciency loss is unacceptable for me
ADR-PRIME - 104.5 kph - 172 armor - 16 Doubles - 3 Er large lasers

My Adder is quite a piecemeal, but it's quite "easy" to play: First half of the game is staying/scouting somewhere between the enemy and your fellow players, harassing the enemy with LRMs. The latter half is picking up left overs with the ER-M-Lasers. It's quite effective, but not especially exciting.
