You're looking at this entirely from the viewpoint of what's best for you. PGI is a business, and businesses look to make money (gasp!!). There would be little incentive to purchase premium time in vast amounts if you could burn it a day at a time. And I'm sorry, but premium time is the very definition of a subscription - you acquire the rights to enhanced in-game incentives for a limited scope of time based upon your purchase. You may not like all that comes with the subscription, but that doesn't change its definition.
Servers don't run on hopes and dreams, people.
1) Consider this: you can buy MC in different quantities, and spend it at your leisure in varying amounts. Therefore it is *more* than reasonable to suggest that premium time should operate under the same mechanic.
2) Of course I should look at it from the viewpoint of what's best for me, the customer. We have endured more than plenty of what's best for PGI for 2+ years with zero thought given to actual customers.
3) If you think that what premium time in MWO provides is in line with what a subscription provides in games that use a subscription model you are living on planet rose-tinted glasses.
4) There is plenty of vastly overpriced items to spend MC on, premium time should not be nickel and dimed in the underhanded manner (by design or accident) that it currently is.
