Nice, I might finally spend some C-Bills and try out the Hunchback again. I have touched them since Closed Beta after they had capped the engine and I found them too slow.

Actually, in the hands of good pilots, IS mechs can make mince-meat out of Clan mechs. I have taken out plenty of Clanners in my Jenner. It even got tot he point that people piloting the clan mechs started calling the Jenner and Raven (set up for scouting/tag/narc.. no ERLL) broken. Yup, Clan mechs are so OP that all IS mechs that defeat them must be broken.

PGI did a good job balancing and these 4 mechs can still hold their own.

Well call me cynical but I hardly think any that pay do it because they want others to be able to play for free. They pay because there are things they want to have, pure and simple. It's your own choice. To afterwards ask for others to be grateful because you paid for what you wanted is rather dishonest.

Well, I would just like to say that I fully endorse this sale.
It gives precedent for future C-bill discounts, which in my book is a good thing, because for those that can't (or won't) spend money on a game they enjoy (they must enjoy it, right? Or why would they keep playing), it means that the grind isn't so discouraging.

It also gives me a chance to pick up my remaining Jenners. Hell, I may even put out for the Oxide, as that's one of the Heros I'm still missing.

Like the Discount Mechbay sale, this is a GOOD thing. Keep it up PGI.

Edit: Torgun, you are correct, to a degree. I pay, because I want to still be able to play this game in a years time. I don't want to see it go under due to lack of funding. The fact that I get Digital Stuff that others don't? Well, that's just a bonus.

No way are they better in every way. If they were, there would be no way in hell my little Raven "Ebon Crow" would be dropping 2 to 3 LARGE clan mechs each game! Hunting clan mechs has put this biggest smile back on the ladies face! They are just so much slower than me, they need longer beam times, they have nice fat bodies...

They ARE cool looking and the sounding though, love ALL the weapon sounds they have so far.
