Love the idea of using the voices from MW2

However since the Houses are much more important now, why not use a voice in the language of the house that made the mech?

It'd be very annoying, but damned hilarious to have the computer spout chinese at me everytime i do something in a mech associated with House Liao, for example.

It'd certainly keep me guessing as to what it was that just got blown off.

Perhaps they could add subtitles, just in case we don't speak mandarin?

I would suggest Moon Dailly who did the voice acting for the character Xana in HoM&M Dark Messiah. But Id be happy with just about any voice over for a start up sequence.

Actually i b!tched about it for 2 days to my wife. She finally got in my face and said if i hear any more about that silly mech game... Mean while i'm thinking, I heard her voice before yours. While fantasizing about stomping the hell out of something. While playing the foot fall sounds from MW2 intro video.

I would go once to a theater even if every one in the world said it sucked. Just to see it with my own eyes as intended. I'm a fan. I just can't quote all the cannon history.

I read this guys post and it took me a second. I reread it and i had to laugh. Same way i feel about the 2 main mech games coming out.
I've got kids. Decient place to live. and 2 mech games all in the same year. Guess i can die a happy man when the world ends Dec 21 2012. Yeah i get a kick out of that too. The world goes on. So will Battletech. Make the voice MW2 Or better. But keep the wording please.

Damn I was going to bring up that the voice from MW2 was in the teaser trailer but you ninja'ed me . Its kinda like hearing an old friend again .

I can see them adding the typical female voice for mech start up. Perhaps various voices for purchase for that custom type job. Like maybe the female voice from Star Trek telling me about the reactor breach would be nice. Or as already mentioned the voice from War Games could be cool.
