can you take the religious dribble to a new topic or to the Off Topic section please. This thread is about an IS Hero Mech sale, not mythical crap.

Well, maybe PGI just hasn't listened to you Christians.

The prayers of the Younger of the church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster however were heard. Our holy symbols are nicely represented by the Buccaneer camo.

We therefore feel very honoured to be the first religion to have their symbols in the game. The honor is even bigger, as we were appearently chosen over the older -and admitttedly more known- religions such as Chrisitanity, Islam Buddhism and so on.

Thank you PGI for proactivly covering the subject of religion in computer games.

Picked up a Firebrand for the C-Bill Bonus.

Also - why are only the blacks on sale?
The 'From Hell' mechs are all Yellow, Red and Black and I could do with a couple of good Reds / Yellows.

I like how they advertise these mechs by revealing how many have been shot down. It's like now that they are obsolete we can have them for half price!

Could've at least put the Heavy Metal, Banshee Hero (has rarely/never been on sale IIRC), or even the Dragon Slayer on sale (although, at this point, the Dragon Slayer has gotten plenty of sales...)

Boar's Head was my first MC purchase and that was last week... I also already own Ember, since I bought the Light Mastery Pack as my second purchase (had a tough time with the Assault class). Jester was in that sale last week too.

I really think this weekend's sale should have actually been about Canada Day, even though I am American... not sure why PGI rarely uses actual holidays for these sales instead of just making things up...

Well, they have... and on the other hand are simply "selective" if it helps their sales.

See Chinese New Year for instance. It happened LAST YEAR. This year? "lol what"

It's only good for them if it "works" at that particular time.

I got the Ilya Muromets and just did some minor upgrades (DHS, Endo, AMS replaced the SL with an ML and more ammo).
Happy enough with that loadout.

Small bit off topic. Anyone know when the Cataphracts, Centurions & Dragons will actually get visual effects when weapons are been swapped?
