No, you are not allowed to pretend that you are Tyra.

Would be an awesome way to ruin an MMO and upset the fanbase, though.

It would also break any sense of player progression if CSJ has captured most of the DC and then all of a sudden it just disappears in 3060...sorry if that happened I would be out. Though I doubt this game will go on for 10 years. It would need a new engine and a graphical update.

More Smoke Jaguar stuff for Smoke Jaguar fans!

Today: ProtoMechs

ProtoMechs also were createt and designed by Clan Smoke Jaguar as a low-cost campaign.
A combination between Elemental Battle Armor and BattleMechs. Small, faster and more armored than Elementals and also cheap to produce. They're available from 2 up to 9 tons. Some of them look really strange. Like monsters, animals, dragons or gods.
Some examples:

Delphyne

Erinyes

Gorgon

There are two lines of ProtoMechs. The first and the second generation.
First generation:

Harpy (2 tons)
Siren (3 tons)
Satyr (4 tons)
Centaur (5 tons)
Hydra (6 tons)
Roc (7 tons)
Gorgon (8 tons)
Minotaur (9 tons)

Second generation:

Erinyes (2 tons)
Cecerops (3 tons)
Orc (4tons)
Procyon (5 tons)
Chrysaor (6 tons)
Basilisk (7 tons)

Delphyne (9 tons)

Let me guess. The Delphyne from the Blood Spirits and Fire Mandrills?

Posted Image

Yeah, this thing look really bizarre. No classic BT-style. I understand why most of the BT-fans dislike these things...

Yes, but most especially in the other picture, all it needs are a few buildings in the background that it is destroying too:

I think I prefer pretending these things don't exist.

I never knew that this is how they came to be. All I thought at the time was "how munchy" and that I would never use one or feel like playing in a game with one.

In my mind, they are kind of like the Jihad: bad ideas that were implemented, but thank heavens I can avoid them completely and just ignore them for practical purposes.

How do you think it was that the Ghost Bear only had 4 legs instead of the 6 is should. Someone in the Mechwarrior companion iirc messed up the art thinking 'bear' alright i will draw a nasty looking bear... apparently he missed the memo the Ghost Bear had 6 legs... so sadly it is now canon that is has only 4 legs. Why do you think the Ghost Bear logo has 6 legs?

Neg in original lore the Ghost Bear has six legs...and just so you know Coffi. That is only cannon if you take newer stuff over older stuff. If anything conflicts I fall back to older stuff. In the Invading Clans Source book the Ghost bear has six legs in a story from what I remember, and even thought it is a story...that is in 1991 well before any muck up happened.
