PGI is doing it right. Before the Patch will be live, we can read the notes. Doesnt matter if it is 20 mins or 40 mins before.

THE PATCHNOTES WILL BE HERE IN SOME (1-30) MINS. AS ALWAYS.

Clan ERSL:

Damage reduced to 4
Range increased to 200m


So, this means that a pair of 2 CERSL are now inferior to the CERML in every way. A single CERML gives 7 damage at 450m, for 5 heat. 2 CERSL will now give 8 damage at 200, for 4 heat. It looks like the CERSL has now just suffered the fate of the Inner Sphere Small Laser. :(


Seriously, guise. This weapon wasn't overpowered before. It was balanced against the CERML to give noticeably higher damage per ton, at the downside of way less range. Now it has basically the same damage per ton, at less range. Another weapon bites the dust...

There are a bunch of typos that I see (I assume they are typos)

Light 'Mechs = (Internal Structure Health * 1.9) * 0.04
Medium 'Mechs = (Internal Structure Health * 1.9) * 0.03
Heavy 'Mechs = (Internal Structure Health * 1.9) * 0.035
Assault 'Mechs = (Internal Structure Health * 1.9) * 0.04
wouldn't the light be multipler be less than the medium and heavy?

Targeting computer Mk II:
Weight: 2 Ton
Slots: 2 Slot
Zoom distance increases by 6.5%
Sensor range increases by 6.5%

The sensor range for the Mk II is greater than the Mk III.....Im guessing typo, it should be 3.25% if you look at the patterns.

No, because the falling damage system was meant to penalize light mechs more than other classes.

Still on the owned as they should be. If you have them, you paid for them.

I suppose you were referring to the Trial mechs... which BTW will still show up as owned.

That statement makes no sense, seeing as both light- and assault-'mechs have the SAME multiplier.
Wich of course means assaults get MORE damage because they have more structure-points.

Not necessarily, because as mentioned in the notes lights also recently got their legs buffed 5%, so it probably balances out reasonably well.

Or maybe it`s an "Intentional" typo, and the light value is actually .03, medium .035, heavy .04 and assault.05, but they wanted to save all the DS-Meta-Cryhard rage for tomorrow and say "whoops, sorry, slipped up on that one" :P

That was my thought, but after this list you have an example with a Spider, and they put the 0.04 multiplier on it.
