they have all the air assets, and hardly any proper aa, lrms should be far more usefull for dealing with air craft since they lock on and have long range. anti missile turrets should also shred any air craft that get too close, it can shoot down hundreds of missiles, but cant hit a small aircraft?!
battle armor is abused by people that know their lag is **** so they are never shown in their real positions, allowing them to chip away at a mech but the mech has a hell of a time even finding them as they warp around laggy like. (i dont mind non ba exploiters at all, as 1 solid hit with anything from a med laser or bigger and splat, or a little machine gun fire tears them right up)
people only play tsa and gc maps, theres this awesome fun sa mode, with duncan fisher and all, but no ones on those servers.
mwll is all about the weapons race, you die and respawn infinitely, if you do dmg and cap crap for score you spawn with more money, so you have to get up there and try for the assaults, you get into a game late and youre in 1 shot fodder vs stuff youll never have a chance to buy before match ends.

Wrong Legs, wrong feet. Not canon. I like the Daishi, but not this wrong thing. As a mechwarrior fan you must see that. If not...your fault sorry. Look at the pictures from Sarna.net. There is not one single picture where you can see those crappy wrong legs. And im not talking about variants...thats another part. Im talking about the Daishi itself. Read my text...

PS: Effort is good, original is better. Sorry MWLL
Quick, nurse! The drugs have worn off this one! Either that or he's having a reaction!
Seriously, who cares. It looks like a Daishi/Dire Wolf. So what if the legs are a little different. Get over it.

No one says MWLL is perfect, but its a good MW game and the only modern one available prior to MWO.
Air can be annoying, but huits and partisans can take them out, especially when working together, even lbx 20 demolishers can be effective at one shotting anything flying on a low altitude bombing run. Though most good aerospace pilots wont get caught going low right into a demolisher's sights.
I haven't seen much in the way of BA lag exploiters other than those who are obviously cheating and get banned in short order, one rac 5 hollander can kill a BA in a second with a good burst.
People play TSA and TC because it offers greater teamwork and strategy. SA is fun for a diversion but it gets old very quickly, even with Duncan.
Also the video posted above refutes your final point. That raven rolled out when there were already assaults on the field. He did damage, survived by playing smart, and upgraded to a Thanatos as his first upgrade. There's also a degree of role warfare in both TC and TSA. I've been in situations where a good raven or hawkmoth managed to slap narcs on the enemy enabling our catapults and other LRM armed mechs to inflict serious damage ultimately forcing them off a base.

The Partisan variants and several Huitzilchipotl variants are good anti-air (excellent in the case of the Huit, though it's painfully slow). Depending on the map, they are more or less useful - they can completely shut down air on open maps like Deathvalley, but are less useful on maps like Mirage, where LBX-equipped assets take the cake.
A LAMS system is effectively a micro-pulse laser, designed for shooting down tiny unarmored rockets that are made of explodium. They won't do **** to something with even a miniscule amount of armor.
ATMs and aerospace SSRMs are the best AA missles.

I've never encountered any problems with warping BA. Keep in mind that BA are extremely maneuverable, but also EXTREMELY difficult to play well. A good BA will jink around under your legs, ripping off your rear armor, or simply jump on your head and start the glorious activity known as RIP AND TEAR with their AC/2 or heavy micro laser.

SA's novelty quickly wore off, and the mode encourages people to just rush up the ranks to buy Vulture Bs and MKII Bs and spam them for the rest of the game.

Well, don't try direct engagement if you join late. Do something useful for your team, like placing APCs (you get money every time a BA spawns there or someone buys ammo from it) then going BA, getting an asset with C3 (especially if your team has a Long Tom), or using the NARC missile on juicy enemy targets to cause friendly missiles to be attracted to it.

MWLL has its fair share of flaws, few if any even mentioned in this thread ("omg the daishi foot is 90 degrees rotated the entire mod sucks!!!1one!!" doesnt count) but as of this moment its the best mech game ever released, and right now none of us know (or if they do they arent allowed to tell thanks to the NDA) whether or not MWO will be better or worse. In addition they are both shooting for different goals so in the end the answer to that will be extremely subjective. One is combined arms, large scale, and set further down the timeline. The other is set to start before the clan invasion, will be mechs only, is primarily small scale limited respawn mech fights, and comes with f2p mmo progression and a real money store.
You dont need to put your fanboy pants on and defend your estranged favorite relative from something that isn't attacking. What i can't wrap my head around is why certain folks around here feel so threatened by MWLL to the point where they just make stuff up about it.

What do you mean about weapon names? The only weapons that have had their names changed are standard Lasers, which are now ____ Beam Lasers, to more easily differentiate them from Pulse Lasers.
Weapon ranges are adjusted for balance. If CBT results in idiotic balance, it's changed, hence why Medium Beam Lasers weigh 2 tons, why Clan weapons have less range, etc.

Didn't have the guts to complain about changes from the canon in this one, or the others for that matter, eh?
i LOVE the chin turret!

How hard is it to differentiate between SL, ML, LL, SPL, MPL, LPL, ERSL, ERML, ERLL, ERSPL, ERMPL, ERLPL? If you dont know the difference between a Laser & a Pulse Laser, there is a problem.
And its not like you can actually customize anything aside from your Battle Armor weapons, so you couldn't get confused after seeing each variant multiple times and memorizing what their loadout is.

Thats basically saying "hey this is mechwarrior/battletech but we're throwing 80% of the actual ranges out of the window!" I'm not saying MW:LL isn't fun, but atleast dont pull ranges out of your *** cause you think it makes more sense.
Its a fun game, and I enjoy playing it, oddly I enjoy being in vehicles/battlearmor more than most of the mechs. But its a bit annoying to see random, asinine ranges on weapons simply because some one thought it "made more sense" and say its battletech.

Agree'd my favorite thing to do in MWLL (and im prolly gonna get attacked by people for this) is either riding into combat as a BA ontop of a scout mech then jumping onto the enamy mech and pounding him, or getting a epona D and just destroying people.

did that once to an Awesome, and there were no other assault mechs on the map. So I killed 3 of his teammates nearby with it.

ive jumped on a assult mech before and his brilliant solution was to jump out of his powered up madcat to try and kill me, i simply jumped in it and found out he had 4 fine AC 5's on it and i just slapped him with it and went on my way, im realy looking forward to what 6.0.0 bring, im REALY hoping the mech lab will be there, that will bring so much life to the game.

This is done more for the people with no background in CBT than anything. There are many people I've seen playing that had no idea what TAG, NARC, or BAP were. At least spelling out the weapons give some indication at their use and range.

Simple answer is, they can't, even with the emphasis on Cbills bumping clan tech up in terms of exclusiveness. The IS PPC is just a better deal for the weight, heat, damage and range, and ultimately that +2 accuracy is a lot harder to represent in an FPS than it is in a turn based dice game.
So generally IS weapons are a little better and more weight forgiving than they are by CBT ruleset, which ultimately bumps IS assets up to much more like the levels of capability as described in the novels, because ultimately, if we break it down, we all know that Terra would be in the hands of the clans if they'd purely played by the rules
