Rumor has it with todays patch they will add in another conformation if you're sure, you're sure you want to exit the game. They might add in a captcha you have to enter before you're allowed to close down.

removal of c-lrm minimum range is going to naaaasty.
streak 20 anyone?

Except that that oh so horribly OP streak 20 only does the damage of a streak 6+4 @ 180 m and less than a streak 4 at 90., while weighing twice as much, generating more heat, and eating up ammo approx 50% faster

I`d MUCH rather face something bif and slow with 60 LRMs <300m than something fast and nimble with 15+ streaks.

lol ... so funny that you have to ask another player what is going on with a patch. Seems like this info would be on the MWO forums.

And it will be when the patch goes live. ALL of it and not just the tidbits Niko is "teasing" us with.

Maybe PGI can have do some programming so that their tweets get reposted onto their Forums?

Well, as stated, this is a teaser, so no necessity to do so... and the way the members of this forum absolutely stalk the devs on twitter and instantly repost everythign here FOR FREE, why invest the effort? I don`t toss buckets of water of a burning house when the fire department is already there with a full company and the hoses are running, either.

Seriously, every post by a dev lands here withing 60 seconds. Why would you program a script to do that and take away the satisfaction a Black Knight`s feels when post`S "HA!! I got them to spill the beans!! LOOK!!!", or the Tryhard`s from "YES!! I whined hard enough!! LOOK!!" , or the Prophet`s from "HA!! I told you so, LOOK!!".

I find it consistently humorous that game companies have been using exactly these methods since the dawn of internet gaming and openly admit to it, yet nobody ever even remotely considers the possibility that somebody may be just a little bit smarter than they are and may be doing a significant portion of the media "non-interaction" by design.... designed specifically to give them that rush from being "right" and thereby subliminally bind the player to the game. Thereby saving yourself significant effort in "leaking" things exactly when and how you want them to be leaked. This is possible because people with an agenda are easily predictable. You generally know exactly how they are going to react to what information, presented in which form.

Becasue if WE can see it months before it happens, like for example allt he Clan OP P2W whinings was first predicted in December 2013.....Well, how can one be so naive as to believe that they can´t and aren`t actively using it to their advantage? Clan P2W /OP whining runs rampant + Clan packs still available = People still buying becasue they think they ARE P2W, just because the cryhards won`t get off that horse.

The community constantly asks to be more involved, but consistently doesn`t see that as far as information gathering and propagation goes they ARE involved, much more than they realize. And until they stop being the engine driving information gathering and spreading, there`s no reason to build another less flexible one. ;)

Holy crap. Does this mean:

Finally after this patch your team won't be permanently screwed from before the match even starts if 2 ppl driving assault mechs on their toaster oven plugged into a 300 baud modem augmented with carrier pigeons disconnects during READY screen?

Perfect time for a match stats and Elo reset I think.

thanks...so basically the usual stuff...no major things it seem..

Ya actually there are alot of HUGE things in that list. JJ changes, and LRM no min range being the 2 that stand out.

Whiners will always find a reason to whine, even if they have to make one up. ;)

I think most people are quiting at the start, they just dont want to play on the map. They make it way to easy to hit esc then"exit game". If this is the case they're not going to be coming back.

I really wish they wouldnt start the game without all 24 players.

Wasn`t meant that way, sorry if it came off as such, but you gotta admit there`s a hell of a lot of "i`m going to die to streak 100s later" whining going on already. I may just run an lrm 100 summoner just to create some of it in teh underhive.

No minimum range for LRMs. It might make the fast and manuverable Timber Wolf even deadlier with it running 2 LRM20s.

Boy I wish I could play that mech right now. After months of nerf cries, It is going to be such crap by November.

His statement didn't answer that for you? Not that I am saying there is anything wrong with them other than disappearing damage, but a few times I have hit people and it didn't seem to do anything, but at range what I thought I was seeing might not have been accurate.

Clan ERPPCs seem fine to me.

With the Clan LRM buff this game will be even more lopsided.

I am fearing the cLRM change. The game has already turned into a long range missile fest but now it is going to get even worse. Clan mechs won't need to waste tonnage on short range weapons anymore since their cLRMs will work in a pinch. This just means more long range weaponry and more ammo for those cLRMs.

Medium to short range builds are in for an even more difficult time now.

Except that if the paper doll is flashing, CERPPCs won't register hits or damage. And will seem to pass straight through mechs that are within 100m...

same here wit the LRM change. IS mechs already have a range deficiency for longer ranges, now clan has a weapon that isn't matched on the IS side in the short range game. I am really fearing that lights will get another reason not to be used when you are getting smacked around by LRM40s at 100m because your IS weapons are all close range stuff.
