"Yeah, remember the mechs you've played for hundreds of hours and have long since abandoned for other mechs? Now we're finally implemented that loyalty point bonus you were supposed to get when playing them."
That's priceless. The funniest thing I've read on these forums for ages!

The silence is deafening.
Give me my loyalty points or give me .... more sales? more ... promises???
At least a sandwich would be nice.

Why'd they go from 6565 to 7510 to 8510 and then back to 9595? Just to rhyme better with some words?
too many syllables
anyways yes PGI announced LP for direct cash purchase via mech bonuses and medalions and a year later still hasn't delivered these. Russ tweeted that they had delivered everything the pack stated but of course is wrong/lieing

Q: What are Loyalty Points?
A: Loyalty Points are part of the upcoming Community Warfare expansion. *snip* Further details will be revealed with upcoming announcements on Community Warfare.
So yeah, medallions delivered, the "upcoming Community Warfare expansion" has not yet arrived.

Which is a contradiction to the statement that everything has been delivered yet.
Which would make the latter statement still a lie.
However, if the loyality points I would have gotten were being silently recorded so they are delivered when CW arrives, I would say that he did not lie.
But I do not now is there is such a silent counter, I do not know if there was a lie.
Because of this I still haven't started skilling my phoenix mechs yet. Because of this have deeply regretted having purchased the Pheonix package yet. Just dead weight, standing in my bays.

I might be wrong, was on an extended break during the entire Phoenix pack era, so appologies in advance is they actually stated that you would get points with the pack.

Quote
A: The Phoenix Variants of each Project Phoenix Battlemech comes packed with the following cosmetic and functional perks:
Unique and Exclusive Custom Designed Exterior
30% C-Bill boost
10% Loyalty Point Boost
Important! These Phoenix Variants will NEVER again be available to purchase or to unlock once the sale offer has ended.
"come packed with"
As it is, they didn't come packed with the Loyality Point Boost (at least not visibly) and they still aren't.
It looks like we have not yet gotten what we were promised.

They have yet to introduce loyality points.
When they do introduce loyality points, you will have a boost to them if you use those mechs/medalions.
Nothing you pointed at says "Hi guys! You will start gaining loyality points at release day!"
Or am I missunderstanding the entire argument? I am starting to feel that way

Because I haven't found it.
PS: If the quote is not in the FAQ, it should date before the Phoenix Package sale closed because to me it was a selling point and part of what was promised to me if I purchased it.

Loyalty Points
Q: What are Loyalty Points?
[color=#00FFFF]A: Loyalty Points are part of the upcoming Community Warfare expansion. Players will be able to work with and/or pledge allegiance to one of the major factions within the game's universe. Loyalty Points are earned by doing a variety of activities within the game. Players will have a pooled loyalty rank value per in-game faction. As the player performs specific actions they will earn loyalty points which are added or removed from these individual faction rank pools. Loyalty Point boosts increase the positive earning of points in these individual boosts. Earning a high level of rank with anyone one faction, earns the player access to specific faction content and economic benefits. he is either clueless as to what the phoenix pack has...
or is an LIAR?
remember by advertising these and making money from it PGI inadvertently OWE BUYERS COMMUNITY WARFARE.
instead soon after this and launch they decided to cash grab again with clans contradicting the many times they said they were building community warfare.
9 months after release the phoenix pack remains paid for AND incomplete.
enjoy those scammed loyalty points.

It's a matter of perspective, so I think your glass is half-full, while mine is distinctly half-empty. Let me explain.
Let's say you're buying a Mercedes car with a special package that comes with a lot of extra equipment and an owner card that gives you a 30% discount at all Mercedes-owned hotels. When you buy the Mercedes, the hotels don't exist, but they are apparently being built.
Let's say none of the hotels exist even after a year, making the discount worthless. Then another year passes, five years, ten years, twenty years. At what point does it become false advertising to offer a discount at non-existent hotels?
You may argue that not much time has passed, but people don't generally play the same computer game as long as they own a single car. So you have to adjust the time scale accordingly, I think.
So far, I'm the proud owner of a medallion that may some day give loyalty points to a system we know nothing about. I personally find that rather funny.
