Screen-shake is a function of damage. The amount of screen shake a weapon causes is equal to its damage multiplied by its impluse value, so with CLRMs doing less damage at short range, they should impart less screen shake too.

so, player disconnects or fails to connect, gets 2 minute window to rejoin the game...

Hows this sound for plausible.

Player A is about to die.... magically disconnects hoping that his tormentor will leave him be and move on to *live bait*. Reconnects at 1m30 to rejoin the fight......

Plausible? or just pessimistic about players abusing the system?????

Why would you stop shooting at a mech thats about to die just because they DC? This is a complete non issue.

So you wouldn't change targets to his buddy who your also fighting, just so you get your KD ratio up that extra one rather than someone else getting it then?

Since when has someone disconnecting in the past stopped them from being totaled, this is more for people that crash on launch, ones that reconnect are not [redacted], just trying to avoid maps they don't like, in the heat of battle someones not going to think hmm now has that mech over heated or disconnected.

If you disconnect in front of a live opponent (go possum) my guess is they will take the free kill and thank you for making it easy, would you walk away from a free kill :D its really no different than overheating in front of a dangerous opponent, if you choose to disconnect at that point I think you'll only be rejoining to see how exactly your Mech got obliterated :D

Nothing to do with getting KD up. You finish off a target. I dont pay attention to the DC messages in the middle of fighting.

As a non-LRM boat usually, however a recipient of said LRMs, does this mean you have 20 Rack hit CT, and the surrounding areas (RT/LT/LGs) will not get damage after this patch?

or

Does this mean 20 rack will still potentially spread to CT/RT/LT/Arms/LGs, with no splash damage.

So I get shot by a LRM 20, and the code says it hits my CT, only 20 points of damage on my CT.

Or do I take 5 LRMs on LT, 5 on RT, 10 hit CT?



So not sure if these are the right questions, just trying to understand, because the way I am thinking about it, having multiple 20 racks converge, on a single spot, I see MORE LRM usage.

I am a pug and I was starting to like the jump jets you jump up so I can get a clear shot, it was really forcing me to improve my range and angle tracking (fire control radar talk ha ha)

So when will the servers be back up ? Seems bugged for me site says servers are online but when i launch the game i get a message saying they are down for maintenance.

So we are finally moving out of Beta territory then? Just messing with you, good Patch!
And as for IS Mechs, there should be more coming soon, since there are almost no Mechs left without a Hero-Variant (looking at you, little Spider).
