Been getting lagging matches since the patch. Not all the time, just a few off and on. Not sure what is going on but other people in my Corps Team Speak have been having the same issue.

Same here, every 1 out of 4 matches I get horrible lag about halfway through the match, makes those matches unplayable. Quit and rejoin doesn't help either.

I had lag already before the patch (but less often). I either spike to 1,000-3,000 ping, or like in the game I am just in now, it slows down to slow motion like levels but everyone's ping looks OK. Got definitely worse since the patch though.

I am on an awful connection (4 Meg via radio link) ... but that is all I can get here in the Spanish wilderness and works fine (normal ping is around 135).

Edit:
Just had another game where my ping went above 2,000. When I use ping plotter, the issues seem to be with the last 2 hops, which look like MWO ones.

Connectivity problem at least every second game. After battle it connects to death. Restart is the only help. Never had such 'big`problems with MWO.

Experienced server side lag outs. What's weird is that it only seems to affect certain people.

Only seems to happen after the game has progressed. Perhaps the rejoin functionality is to blame?

Guys..,. Terrible problems login in for many people. and if u connect, lag. Lots of DCs too.
Also problems on mechlab, selecting mechs or saving.

Whats happening??

Never had a lag before this patch.
Now 2 a day each 10+ sec, sure death in this game.
Fix it or im gone.

There are definitely lag/connectivity issues with this latest patch. Every day since it's been implemented I have had two matches a day (out of about 20, so 10 percent-ish) where I lose connection about 2 minutes after the round starts and have to disconnect then immediately reconnect.

Earlier today, around 11am Pacific, there was a big disconnect with the server where we ended up playing a game of 3v6 because 15 players failed to connect to the game at all. I was one of the three on my team who managed to stay in, but afterwards I was kicked back to login with "Unknown Error." The two rounds I played immediately after logging back in, people were complaining in chat about lag issues as well.

okay...also, got stuttering (fps dropped to 10-15) without high ping and rubberbanding, although there were no problems at mechlab (fps around 40-50), in my last 3 matches (alpine peaks, canyon network, river city).

Ok, I alway have good ping..good connection....but the "Rejoin" feature just will not work for me...... I get dropped at the beginning of a match....I and back in Mechlab within 2 minutes..hit the rejoin if goes to the beginning graphic of the match I got dropped from ..then kicks me out saying "Disconnected from game server"..... over and over and over.... I have not been able to rejoin one match I get dropped from at all...... but I hear others have no problem..... getting tired of the inconsintancies of this stuff..... and the lag..... which others have complained about also.. waisting rounds, and missiles on warping targets..... end up getting shot up cause I warp into fire...and don't know it till the hang up stops...then I'm either almost or all dead.... its a great game.. but to make promises... throw out features and have nothing but bugs over and over.. you have to take into account what YOUR customers are loosing out on.... one...used up rounds on warping mechs.... this hampers costomers stats.... how many times fired to how many hits... and so on..... some may not worry about those stats but others do.... stop trying to get a feature out just to get it out on time....and worry about getting features out that work with minimal or no bugs. I love playing the game....but don't love playing when the game is messed up. Have your customers praise you, not ***** at you all the time.... yeah, we will play no matter what..... but to have the "ahhhh they will ***** a while" attitude.... not good costomers relations.... just saying. Ok done ranting...

I too have connectivity and lagging issues after this patch as all others here have posted.

The game is basically unplayable for me, I get perhaps 1 in 5 matches that is playable, e.g. without lots of disconnects or mid-match lagfests.

I have tried all the DNS fix business, this problem is not just me. I'm sure of it.

Can log in but cannot play games. Get disconnected from game servers and returned to mechlab instantly after loading screen. It's not in a playable state now so please fix.

Never had this much lag problems before.
Now at least once a day I get such a huge lag problem that my mech just freezes on screen. My ping is same (doesn't change).

Sometimes I am able to disconnect and rejoin, but that doesn't always work.

I'd like to give a general feedback about high server response times outside of a match.
  • After logging in, it generally takes 20s to reach the Mechlab.
  • Saving a new loadout or small purchase of consumables takes 5 - 10s to be completed.
  • After said changes have been saved, there generally appears an additional "Refreshing data..." lockout from the interface for multiple seconds. (Can't these be executed in the background and/or made half-visible?)

System, specifications, everything on my end: unchanged.

Prior to this patch, everything smooth running.

Post patch, multiple issues rendering most matches unpleasant and one out of five matches unplayable.

Issues include:

Massive lag spikes, rubber banding, unresponsive keys, shuddering, teleporting, frozen matches, etc.

I have monster lags from time to time since friday night (it's sunday evening now) and its getting worse.I even got thrown from 2 matches and disconnected from game server right now.Had no disco's in month's.
I seen these things (especially the lags) happen to several twitch streamer too.

Ya, since the patch is the first time I've had severe rubberbanding, so bad that some games everyone is desynced from each other "permanently". Had to wait for the timer to run out because you couldn't do damage to anyone, and even then it takes almost a minute after the timer expired for it to end.

Actually left and rejoined one match that was experiencing this, rejoin worked, but said I was dead for a minute or so, even though I was walking around.
