The frequency of rubberbanding, occasional high ping and stuttering i had on 19 July-21 July decreased compared to 12 July-18 July. Although, sometimes the mechlab loads very slowly. I played around 34 matches since 19 July, had 1 crappy match which more than half players were -No Pilot-, 1 rubberbanding match, 6 stuttering matches and 8 matches which the mechlab needed more than 1min to load up after the match ended.

Not getting any better, is this a known issue and is PGI looking into it? Nothing has changed on my end, pre-patch I had no complaints. Post-patch has juddering lag, rubberbanding, teleporting, unresponsive controls, time outs.

Now, lagging out more and more frequently, maybe 1 in 5 games everyone does the moonwalk. The intermittent lag is very annoying, but the lag outs make it completely unplayable. Rage quit.

I sent a ticket in with everything you require and the response was to make sure my isp is not throttling my connection. Clearly with so many people having the issue it must be this patch. Last patch I was endlessly stuck reconnecting after most matches ended this has ceased but the rubberbanding and lag have been disappointing.

I have been having this issue and I have tried everything including verifying that my ISP wasn't throttling my traffic. This is a MWO server side problem.

It seems that the rejoin feature just made things worse.

Yeah, lag.

Some games are ok, in most it's only a mild annoyance, but I've had some games that ended unplayably bad. Like the "dead atlas" lag bug that was introduced when the game was supposed to go open beta. Mechs start teleporting and rubberbanding, eventually everything stops and even the chat doesn't come through.

I for one wish this patch was scrapped, It broke the game for a few days and more importantly the matchmaker is now more skewed than it has ever been (and thats saying something). Game after game is turning into a steam roll and they're over in no time. Either that or one team or the other forgot to bring their Armour.

I'm finding myself on the loosing team a lot since last tuesday and since this patch alone my K/D ratio has taken a hammering. Even my fairly reliable high kill ratio mechs are struggling since last Tuesday. The current trend for the vast majority of teams dropping in direwolfs is also getting very boring and predictable. especially if you end up with a predominately IS heavy team.

Something needs to be done because after last tuesdays right royal F*ck up i'm hoping it's a not a repeat today.

Can we please have our close and tense matches back?

Still happening.
Random disconnects,rubberbanding,lag without ping drops,freezes,hit reg fails and so on.
FIX YOUR SERVERS!
REFUND A WEEK OF PREMIUM TIME for those who have it active.Because the game is unplayable for the last week now.
Oh and its more than about time for an official statement or at least a blue post like "we are aware of the problem and we are working on it".

Gotts throw my 2 cents worth in as well, used to run perfectly before this new patch now, constant rubberbanding disconnecting, i can reconnect yes but 9 times outa 10 im dead, any news on if this is being looked at?

This is really getting out of hand. every second match i play i get disconnected or rubberband all over the place not to mention the fps fluctuations.

Can not login since patch, keep getting servers down for maitainence. Is there a solution for this so i can get back to playing?

Lag, disconnects, and rubberbanding have been horrible since I finally got the game working after last patch by running the Repair Tool. But tonight, something new: I had hit Launch but Cancelled because I needed to put my daughter to bed. I waited until it returned to the Mech Lab screen and there was no Launch window, then put her to bed. Came back about 10 minutes later to find my mech 8 minutes into a match. Typed something about it into chat as I moved to join up with my team. Lagged out. Exited match. Rejoined. Black screen for almost two minutes, then back in, lagged out already again (other mechs' legs moving like on a treadmill, but no actual change in position). Quit match and rejoined again. This time I was close to 1000m from my last position, and dead. So, apparently the lag is so bad one can now not only lag out and disconnect and rubberband, but I've managed to actually lag IN to a match. *sigh*

I have had lag issues tonight to the point where i cannot play the game. I rubberband all over the map almost as if i am playing in stop animation mode. It is horrible, i have checked everything on my side and my ping never goes higher then 48-58 during the terrible games.

My internet works great, other websites work great, other games are just fine. Its only your website and your game i was also not the only one in my group complaining about lag issues and rubberband issues over comms.

I have tried repair tool and many other things to get it to work...this is no fun.

I get ping spikes as well often now. Go out of sync, sometimes for 10-15 secs. Bad.

I had a light bulb moment, the last game just now 9:20 am CET started of as a lag fest, I am assuming PGI want to transform MWO to turn-based?

The non-monitoring and non-responsiveness on this forum by the devs is quite impressive. A fan boy will tell me to raise a ticket any moment, which will result in a not very productive tip by support to run the repair tool. :P You have a server problem, own up to it and give your customers an ETA to fix.

This was a mess up somewhere along the lines from the last patch, you have to run the repair tool in the Bin32 folder in the MWO directory. It will take some time but try it. If it doesn't work try again.

I found i had to delete my shaders folder under the USER folder to prevent my mechs from highlighting red too, but that may of just been me.

Since patch I have experienced heavy lag in maybe 5% of matches. The lag manifests in such a way that the game appears to be disconnected, a.e. anything happening when it starts keeps happening (missiles hovering in the air, machineguns firing, legs moving) but everything sits still. Then after maybe 5 seconds I am plopped back to whereever I would've been had I been able to see where I was going during the lag.

Does not happen in other games. Did not happen till after this patch.
