Imagine for a newbie. He will just be crushed any game he plays.
It sadden me to see a game I like so much becoming just unplayable if you just want to team up with a friend.

Learn of carry yourself.
Newbie will be put in a more 'fair' ELO bracket in SOLO queue than he could ever in Group queue.

Two men are needed in the group drops, or 10 manz can't drop at all.

Could say the same to the whole lot of you who moaned and moaned to remove groups from the solo queue in the first place, bunch of hypocrites.

Lets also have queues based on gender, ethnic makeup, regional location, people who dont like mondays, and especially one for people who scapegoat coincidental factors for their own incompetent performances.

So you say, all is perfect and nothing needs to be changed? Based on just your own personal experience playing MWO which of course must be valid for everyone else?

No: I'm saying that all players should be treated equally in order that there is a single level playing field for all players (look! it's even in bold!) and not individually catered to as the result of a handful of whiners (of which there will always be regardless of how you split queues up).
Let me spell out to you exactly what will happen if you add a 3rd queue into the mix.
1) Wait times for group queues will increase exponentially (protip: group waiting times are already coma inducingly tedious).
2) a wider range of ELO players will be dropping in individual matches due to fewer players in the queue, guess what, Kilo 40 and his kid are going to get hammered every. single. time.
3) Players who dont understand that you cannot magically be good when starting out in a game that most others have been playing for a couple of years will continue to QQ rather than PewPew.
The problem is not queues, the problem is PGI increasingly catering to the incompetent to the detriment of the overall quality of the game, and a vocal minority of players needing to grow a pair and "git gud" or zip it.

Wrong ASS-umption... I for one never bothered in the first place..
But after getting a feel of True Solo Queue.. I liked it and wish it remains this way..
I understand the need for training but that is for PGI to open up private mode to be less restrictive...
No more abusing PUGs in public queue... Want to do it.. Go face equal terms in group queue.

I hear you, man. I got my son and best friend involved several months ago...both just gave up because of the constant roflstomping in the PUG queue. They never had a chance to learn how to play the game.

I prefer to think of it like this, groups finally got a queue where the deciding factor is compitence of their team rather than what team won the DERP lottery by having the most useless pugs teamed up with them.
The tough part for group oriented players is swinging back and forth from the vastly more organized and skill oriented group queue and the hiding behind stuff and derping around solo queue.
It is like night and day. The common tactics used by puggies will get you killed in the group queue as will the bolder decisive moves that win in the group queue will leave you to die alone in the solo queue.
So to the OP. play in the solo queue to get your feet wet but DO NOT take any of the games seriously and DO NOT bring most of the "tactics" you "learned" in the solo queue into the big kids sandbox. Hiding in one spot only gets you pinned down flanked and destroyed when you face skilled opposition.

You are the one making assumptions here:
1) I play in both queues.
2) The quality in Solo queue is lower
3) Thinking that groups somehow "abused" pugs is comical. Its like painting some giant conspiracy theory.
I think some users should have a white flag as their signature banner, as clearly they give up very quickly when faced with any form of challenge that requires a little effort.

And the truth of this statement is what bothers me the most about the PUG queue.
If there were actual separation by skill/experience in the Solo queue, this wouldn't be the case. You'd be able to join the PUG with people that have about the same level of experience using the tactics they use in the Group queue . Instead, we have the "may the team with the fewest noobs win."
