Some of the things you can find in my cockpit when were flying around are bottle of water, a watch hanging off the helmet hook, log books/maps/frequency cards. Some of the craziest things i've seen on board are coffee pots, holiday lights, mardi gras beads.


I know helicopter != mech but its close enough.

Brilliant idea with the upload-capable image frame. It'd be great to be able to put anything you wanted in a small slot in the cockpit. Pictures of family, coat of arms, inspirational posters, to-do lists ...

Also, it'd be a fantastic (FANTASTIC) idea if you perhaps sold vanity cockpits for the 'Mechs.

For example, a hard-core merc vanity interior which had a wall-mounted SMG/Rifle/Pistol and grenades, a med-kit, perhaps some kill markers or something, along with a suitably dark or maybe red interior. Something for those who were born to slay for C-bills.

These vanity interiors could be slightly altered to fit in each different mech, basically just re-arranging and re-coloring for the different chassis. I think this would be an amazing chance for some (very) micro transactions and a great way to let people personalize their mechs.

Perhaps also a set of faction themed interiors, with crests and faction specific items. Not sure how much work it would take for your team to alter the internals of each chassis to do something like this, but it's a really great project to work on over the (hopefully quite long) life of MWO, as well as a great cash item that could be cheap and popular.

could there be like a little tape up picture we could edit in our cockpit? just wondering if we could do that only reason i ask is because i think it would make the game feel more realistic after all most fighter pilots have a pic of their loved ones in their fighter taped somewhere.

a bit more instrumentation:
a better map would be fine, an Xwing style radar so I can see more easily if something is detected in my rear... just red dots on the compass as seen on the vids is insufficient.
