But more than anything, I'd like a third-person view. As cool as I want my Cockpit to be, aesthetically I'd much rather watch my mech walk around.

Back-up camera and an MP3 player set up like XM or Pandora or something on a 7 inch screen (displaying album art , etc.).
Shotgun/sidearm on a rack/holster on the side.
Also, customizable light colors. Instead of having green lights on the panels, maybe I want teal or red?

How about customizing the pilot's hands themselves as well? vanity stuff such as a vast array of gloves... rings.... gauntlets.... missing fingers.... perhaps a stump in place of a hand.... ya know... give your pilot some more character.

Though i realy, realy like the idea of uploading custom pictures to pictureframes we can put into our cockpit... knowing the people playing games online we'll end up with ~85% of those pictures consisting of swastikas, dicks and combinations of both and other 'fun' things. So unless MW:O gets an M rating, you'd have to heavily police those uploads.
