I think what Mechwarriors - it is the elite soldiers who have been hard school to survive and operate through the Mechs neurointerface. Beer cans, cubes, a girls is absolutely not in the theme. This is not NFS or etc. Read a R. Thurston's "Way of the Clans" and like the atmosphere.I would not want to drive a punk Mech.

Finally, someone else that gets it.

Some of these people make me wonder why they play at all. I get the impression at least a few of these people are going to 'pimp their ride' with metallic pink paint and chrome trim.

There's only one color for a mech, and that's black. No childish or silly stuff in the cockpit either. End of discussion.

Options to modify the cockpit style from a "default" setting to a "grimy" setting with rust/dirt and perhaps the odd cracked display perhaps by way of other styles that may be affiliation-flavoured.....Kurita, Steiner etc etc as well as the ability to modify colours in displays, perhaps upload the odd vanity picture of yourself, significant other.....basically "Pimp My Mech" options.

I'd really like to see some sort of propaganda poster, blue print of your mech or decal on any free space you get on your mech, like the space directly behind you/ to your side?

Maybe some stuffed toys, like a plushy Atlas?

How about the level of founder status as a small plaque in your cockpit?

How about house specific stuff? Rasalhague should get a viking helmet/drinking horn, other houses can get stuff that would suit them.

I'd rather enjoy things little toy soldier versions of mechs or mech chess peices in your cockpit.

How about toy rockets or something along those lines?

Possibly a water bottle or drinks can with a joke label on it? You could have an atlas crushing a commando under its foot and with the worlds "Vanquish your thirst!".

Yes, a rear-view camera screen that hangs down from the top or even pokes up at the bottom would be a great place to mount your dice and stuff that hangs. (However, this should be an option that can be disabled in your options for those with older or not as powerful GPUs...)

Also... Ditto on the uploadable photo spot. Ditto on the MP3player.

And last but not least, my own suggestion... Mechs can get HOT, right? How about a mounted fan somewhere for the mechwarrior? I mean this is, after all, just as much about the warrior as the mech, right? (both words are included in 'MechWarrior'!) Kinda' the whole point of being able to customize your cockpit?

(If my suggestion gets added, I get one in my cockpit for free, right?)
